You Can Also Use Black Paper Or Pipe Cleaners For The Limbs, I Use Black Paper For Them. Just Make Sure The Black Paper You Buy Isn't Too Thin If You Ever Use It.

For making the book template I'm pretty sure normal printing paper would work fine. Cardstock paper is good when making things that are 3d and need structure to them.
