Dainja’s Details: Kalao 1.14.23

I thought I’d be walking into a packed and busy Kalao. This night turned out to be challenging and it put me in a position to be more strategic and methodical than I ever been.
What kept people from going out was Greek Life. Students are basically in the process of joining a sorority or a fraternity. So the venue was far from packed. On top of that, ppl usually hang in the front bar area until later in the night. I asked the booker to kill the volume in the front bar so ppl would make their way to the main room so we can do our best to fill it up with what we had.
Overall we had a solid night. We realized it would be a struggle but the number were good enough at the end we still left them with a fun experience.
