Oooh you need to go to “Le Picolet” or Auberge du Picolet, also on the Boulevard, I believe it’s after Gwog; it’s run by 2 sisters & one of them is the cook. When I tell you the food is good lawdamercy 😫 I was in Okap at the beginning of this month, I miss the food so much.
We ate there while staying at the hotel. You’ll see it in my last Cap-Haitien travel vlog. The food was really good!

There are existing plans to upgrade the boulevard. I suggest you get in touch with city hall to find out how far along those plans are.

@@ruttyb can’t wait I went to okap in June girl I went through New Jersey to fortlauderdale then sleep over to okap the next day I hate plus I was with my 5 year old we stayed at beck Hotel the service was alright the place is beautiful. They need to upgraded the hotel though.
I heard Sunrise Airways will have flights from Miami to Okap. Most of these hotels need to be renovated. They keep increasing their prices though smh.
@@ruttyb we need an airline in newyork same day arrival I will be in Haiti more often.
I think it’ll take some time for that to happen. But depending on the time of the Miami flight to Okap, it might be possible to come from NY on the same day. The NY flight will just be super early in the morning though.

Yes, it’s safe for travel. There are lots of tourists here. It’s the main travel destination in the country at the moment. I think visitors fit right in.
