A slice of Irish paradise. In New Zealand, Ireland is the Old Country for many. There's certainly a Celtic thread here. With a fondness for pale green walls and white concrete fences. I have ancestors from nearby Connaught. It was like having a wee glimpse into the ether.
The mark of a good tour is to make me feel homesick for a place I’ve never been. I’ve been to Dublin but not beautiful Killarney. I’m now homesick. Thanks Sinead. Keep well.

Haha. My maternal ancestors are from the Killarney area. My parents and aunt ( mum's sister) are going over on Monday for a 5 day visit. Almost as beautiful as the Highlands of Scotland. If there's anything we Celts can be proud of, it's our scenery.

What a wonderful time we had with you Sinead in beautiful Killarney❤. It is magical!! Killarney is breathtaking and the people are so friendly and warm. We were so blessed that you were able to arrange your busy schedule in order to provide us this private tour! The hotels that you arranged for us to stay in were fantastic and the full Irish breakfasts were amazing!! The pubs weren’t too bad either😂😂 Thank you for “taking care of us” from helping us arrange our flights and airport transportation to arranging a true Irish experience including Celtic dancing, Irish Football, boat ride on the lakes and horse jaunty cart rides! It was the trip of a lifetime ❤❤

That looks quite like Northern Scandinavia were the indigenous population of Scandinavia lives. The Sami population, my Mothers people. I like Ireland, and i've been to Dublin and i drove through most of Ireland back in the day when i drove for the family trucking company but i think i need to do some serious traveling in Ireland. It's absolutely beautiful. 🤍

Nappies on a nag, what's wrong with the driver having a bucket and shovel. Horses don't poo that often. No electricity brings back memories of an Uncle's farm in very rural Cambridgeshire during the late 50's. The farm had a generator for equipment but only supplied the house with enough for a couple of lights and the radio. A cold tap in the kitchen and an outhouse earth closet in the garden, the farm produced Peas, Beans, Brassicas and Potatoes, livestock was kept for Dairy, eggs and meat for the family and workers and their families that lived on the farm. I learnt to drive a little grey Fergie as soon as could reach the pedals, about 12, license obtained at 15. The pub was a 10 minute horse ride over a field so as not to be caught drunk in charge of an horse or parking the tractor the other side of the fence to it.
I think that when God made the Heavens and the Earth, he had some leftover "Beauty" and left it all in Ireland.

No, we haven't done that one yet! We think it's worth it - they have a great audio guide and you are kind of set loose to explore on your own. Plus there are fantastic views from the top of the ship.
