Its still interesting how the 2002 Movie was somewhat going to be very different.
And that isn't the first time we get to know about a certain Scooby-Doo movie going to originally be different.
The same thing happened to SCOOB! before.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 that’s very very true although it’s interesting how with this one being live action, a lot of the changed things were actually filmed. We wish we could see it
@@JayBeeMilly Same here.
If the original version of the film did exist, I bet everyone's reactions would be through the roof like crazy now than it did back in 2002.
That goes double for SCOOB!
I also would've loved to see another version of that film and have other Hanna-Barbera characters appear in the movie.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 I hate to say this but I was going to mention how some people would have fits because there was going to be a rated R Scooby-Doo movie.
@@seankidwell8208 I bet they would
Very nice collection man, definitely my favourite movie of all time as a kid and still Evan now!!!
Happy 21st Anniversary of the movie. Thanks so much for checking out our collection. We recently interviewed Neil Fanning on this show. If you are interested we'd love it if you checked that out too 😀
Happy 20th Anniversary to Scooby-Doo 2002!
We love the movie so much ☺️
I love your collection it’s so awesome!!
This movie is my childhood, the last 4 years I've been going back to it. Recently found a fan cut that adds the deleted scenes back in, almost like a whole new movie, helps the plot a little bit to in my opinion. These movies received way too much hate. Are these perfect movies? No, but in my honest opinion they hold even more now in my 20s now that I understand the humor. I'm really glad to see there's big fans of these movies. I really had wished we got the 3rd movie. Great collection and video man.
Happy 21st Anniversary of the movie. Thanks so much for checking out our collection. We recently interviewed Neil Fanning on this show. If you are interested we'd love it if you checked that out too 😀
So much cool Scooby-Doo movie products.
Which is your favourite in this video?
@@JayBeeMilly The Poster, and the Outkast Lands of a million Drums Vinyl.
Its still interesting that the 1st Scooby-Doo Live-Action film had quite an Insane and Wacky History during its Production.
And I thought SCOOB! had a similar phase or something.
I do mean Wacky and Insane in a very good way.😅😅😅
absolutely love scooby doo and the live action. glad it has gotten a cult following it deserves. i have most of these as well!
This is the most amazing thing of all time
Here is a little bit of my knowledge. I was 12 when it came out and I would collect magazines articles. The French poster with Daphne in the middle is pre-promotional and was not used when the movie came out. The actual main poster for France, Switzerland, Belgium was the purple poster (that we would see at the cinema but also in all press articles) and later when the soundtrack came out it was also the purple photo (I bought it in Switzerland). When I moved to the US I got the US soundtrack and the photo is the one green/blue (like the poster they had). I hope I was able to clarify some little details.... your video is great so is your collection! ❤
Happy 21st Anniversary of the movie. Thanks so much for checking out our collection. We recently interviewed Neil Fanning on this show. If you are interested we'd love it if you checked that out too 😀
I'm so jealous lol. This is my favorite Scooby movie. I only have the Luna Ghost figure. I want the Demon figure.
Happy 21st Anniversary of the movie. Thanks so much for checking out our collection. We recently interviewed Neil Fanning on this show. If you are interested we'd love it if you checked that out too 😀
I love how you have an entire collection of scooby merchandise dedicated to the 2002 live action movie
Thank you ☺️ it’s our goal to collect it all
@@JayBeeMillyhopefully you'll start a collection for merchandise of monsters unleashed as well
True! We have some of the toy cars, books but mostly Inkworks cards. They seem to have made a lot less for that film
@@JayBeeMilly you'd think that thier would be a good amount of merchandise made for both movies
I had that Luna Ghost action figure and the soundtrack! Love your wonderful collection. Happy 20th anniversary Scooby-Doo 2002!
That’s awesome! Thank you so much ☺️ we are so happy to be celebrating 🙌🙌
@@JayBeeMilly I don't blame you for loving the film alot
With my collecting it really depends on if I need the full item like if it is cards, I would keep the cards but get rid of the boxes but if it is like a Funko I keep the whole item and 99 percent of the time I keep the Funko in the box unless it is a messed-up box.
Oh yeah, good point. It really does make sense. JayBee is just a hoarder 😅
@@JayBeeMilly That's life we gotta go through almost everyday
You can say that again
@@JayBeeMilly Okay, that is life we gotta go through almost everyday
The novel doesn't include the pentagon scene, but it does have a lot of deleted content that foreshadows/explains the pentagon scene! There's a lot of cut content in general that matches up with the draft and interviews (i.e. Fred having cheated on Daphne + Shaggy selling pots out of the van). I'm pretty sure it was adapted from the shooting script rather than any footage, but it still omits certain material like gay!Velma and the adjoining rooms scene, probably out of Scholastic censorship.
the Tiki Witch Doctor from "a tiki scare is no fair"
I have the green poster CD and I live in the US, I never saw any Scooby movie products with the purple poster with more going on in it until I was much older
Hmmm, we wonder if it maybe is a European edition then but they’re both just hard to find. We will have to look into it ☺️
@@JayBeeMilly Who on earth knows or something like that
Awesome
It's interesting that on the Australian DVD, the original is like this where it's rated pg, but the current one you can buy in stores is actually rated G?? Really odd, our ratings system must've changed
Hmmm, that is strange. We need to keep better track of where we buy these items from to be honest
This is my dream collection ❤️🥺 Scooby for life ❤️
It’s our favourite 🙌
1:51, The VHS & DVD copy of the film you have is the same like I have, expect for a different version of the Logo.
I guess you have the UK Logo Version.
Most likely as all of the DVDs were purchased locally. We’re curious to know what the USA logo looks like. We should ask to see Ashton’s DVDs
@@JayBeeMilly It doesn't hurt to try
Hopefully soon. Fingers crossed we don’t have any JayBee & Milly imposters
@@JayBeeMilly I hate Imposters
They are sus
4:03 I didn't know of that cover until recently.
Better late than ever to know
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 very true
@@seankidwell8208 Yep
@@seankidwell8208 Does it matter though? just wondering
@@Richard-3874 For noncollectors probably not, For collectors yes very much.
4:16, No sign of Scrappy-Doo
Do you love Scrappy?
@@JayBeeMilly He is a lovable character
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 Not to most people.
@@jordanwright2072 Fair enough
I love Scrappy-Doo to🥰
0:48, I still wish we had to see what the original version of the movie would've looked like compared to what we ended up with
Agree. Totally agree ❤️ it’s also going to take a while for us to get used to not seeing the Toonster
@@JayBeeMilly Again, sorry that my new Username and Icon picture still threw everyone off, including you.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 no worries, it looks great 😊 we also love some retro stuff
@@JayBeeMilly Thanks
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 do you like the retro stuff in this video?
Omg you've got the spooky demon hes rare and the others
W Collection
Happy 21st Anniversary of the movie. Thanks so much for checking out our collection. We recently interviewed Neil Fanning on this show. If you are interested we'd love it if you checked that out too 😀
For the figures, if you look carefully at the Luna Ghost, the promo pic on the back of the Mystery Solving Scooby is different from the final product. Why? The promo pic Luna Ghost has the claws from the movie while the final product has flat hands. I’m assuming this was done in order to avoid parents from complaining/suing for damage done to their kids.
Oh wow, yeah. You’re absolutely right. We wonder why 😳 or maybe that was before designs were finished? Maybe when the Luna Ghost was still going to be the main villain? He could have gone through a similar transformation to Scrappy Rex
How many mystery machines do you have in your collection?
Also, which according to you is the best?
Do you have the mystery machine model kits from Revell and polar lights?
Hey! So the soundtracks are indeed different as the first one you looked at is from the U.S and the purple cover is from the European countries like the U.K and so on~
Oh wow. We guess we just never awh it
Omg
I dont have the spooky demon
This is the most amazing thing of all time
