I just found a few with the pointed a, one of them has the c underlining the branding and it says ci on either side, from my research it's from the 30's. It's an absolute relic and this is my first purchase. My new favorite hobby!

Maybe used 3 or 4 times. 3 ratchets 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" with 6 and 12 points metrick and standard deep and shallow sockets with a G on them. 12 combo wrenches, metrics and standard. Stamped Made in USA with the "V" on them. Very clean like new. Home use only. For sale. Make offer!

I stick with American made. I bypass that China garbage even if it's a wrench with a socket. I'll buy and restore old American tools to sell or keep depending on how bad I may want to keep it. I've been watching vintage Craftsman tools on sale. It has a few wrenches, couple sockets, two ratchets and extensions for $50. Now after watching this and to look for in Craftsman vintage tools, can see most of these are V between single dashes but the 1/2 ratchet is a V between double dashes. Now I'm strongly thinking of making an offer to this person

Thanks, I’ll be checking my inventory and looking for more. I KNOW I paid too much, and possibly bought wrong. Though if it didn’t say USA 🇺🇸 I won’t buy it unless it’s a special German or Swiss Car or Machine tool. Car tool sets that came with BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, SAAB, Jaguar etc usually in a leather or canvas roll up or small trunk mounted box worth money. Same for OLD VW Beetle & Bus Jacks & Hubcaps us Horn Buttons and the old VW Chrome hood insignias too. Especially the big ones from Vans

Early - V - tools didn't have a part number. I have a unused set of line wrenches from about 1968 that have no part number. Also = V = and - V - tools that are pre 68 or 69 Have pointed A's. Not 100% certain on the year but never seen a post 1970 part numbered tool with pointed A's, I have a couple wrenches with rounded A's with no part number, guessing that was only made for a year or 2 in 68 or 69, maybe earlier 1970.

Cheap and amazing. USA grade Steel is like nothing else. The new ones bend a lot easier/flex and have more play.

Have you sold any Williams tools? I am branching out with tools based on your history with them. I purchased a old Williams socket set at an estate sale for $10 with a vintage looking red metal tool box. I’ve looked up a couple of comps and just a couple of wrench pieces recently went for $76. There were several extra bags of miscellaneous sockets but I didn’t buy anymore. Had second thoughts and went back the next day but all were gone. Snooze you lose! Won’t next time.
