- The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-11.
QB Jalen Hurts, RB D'Andre Swift, WR Olamide Zaccheaus all got into the endzone. The defense showed up and forced 2 turnovers, as well as K Jake Elliott knocking in a trio of field goals.

I know we were hyping up Jalen Carter before the season even started, but it is still so amazing to see him COMPLETELY live up to the hype. You don't usually see that happen to this extent, but he is reaching and even exceeding expectations. He is a DROY candidate 100%.
Kid's only getting started is the best part. He doesn't stop until the whistle, can't wait to see what's in store.

@@Jxckes11 Hope so. from your lips to gods ears. Don't wish anything bad for him. just heard bad things about him. His talent was never in question. but when NFL teams who were scouting him and talked to his coaches. They found that not 1 of his coaches would go to bat for him. Not 1. Attitude issues. Punching team mates, personality issues and then of course his accident. that led to a death. He's in the right place in philly for now. And hopefully they can instill some positive characteristics in him. Before he becomes the star of the team and isn't able to be told what to do or how to act.
I love the way DeAndre swift is running. He was a steal for Howie. This team is talented from the front office down to the practice squad. It's great being an eagles fan

I was happy we signed him. He was breaking our back last year week one when we played the Lions. I think a lot of people forget the Lions gave us one of our toughest games last year. And it was mostly because DeAndre Swift was running all over us 🙂

Last night was epic for my birthday - my favorite team played Monday night football, and they didn't just win, they absolutely dominated! I mean, it was like something out of a comedy show because Swifty hurled somebody, and I couldn't stop laughing! 😂 And then, we had Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, and the rest of those DAWGS out there making some insane plays. I’m just seeing Jalen Carter do everything right so far in his young career. There’s been times where I see him talking smack to other players on the other team and that is just something you rarely get or see from a 22 year old rookie. He just looks real, no doubt about it

I'm absolutely loving how dominant Jalen Carter is but let's not overlook how much of a beast Jordan Davis has become, also. Dude is balling the F out!
They're back together and feeding off each other. Jordan needed a year to hit his stride at this level but Jalen came out swinging right out of the gate. As a 63 year old lifelong Birds fan it's been a thing of beauty to see these two very young beasts take over a game.
