- The Queen of Hip- Hop Soul Mary J. Blige sits with JusNik and Kool Dj Red Alert to speak on her mental growth, manifestation, and taking care of herself.
Blige also speaks on believing in love, her healing journey and taking accountability for her actions from previous relationships and how not to bring it into something new. Mary J. Blige also speaks about her new single ft. Vado and her role as Monaé in the hit series "Powerbook: Ghost."
She reveals that playing that role, she has to go to some dark places to bring the character to life and says that everyone has a little Monaé in them. Mary also stated that she would like to play Nina Simone someday and more.

I think the challenge for her as an actor would be a comedy. All the characters she’s played have been an extension of her, very serious, street, strong, but I’d like to see her in a comedic role.

MJB is like a real life max truck! She has to be one the toughest women not only in the entertainment industry but just in life in general.
I don’t think people really understand that she ain’t nothing to F with! She’s the type of person who make a powerful enemy.
You noticed we haven’t heard anything about her exhusband or her former protege Starshell getting any type of work in the music business.
MJB is definitely bout that life and she seems to work hard at trying not be a bad person.
She is definitely a heavyweight. One the quite heavy weights.
Those two clowns have not been able to get work because they did Mary wrong, they weren't shit before Mary, her fans have blackballed them as they deserve and now we see them for who they are. Come-uppers who miscalculated.
Mary has a true Motherly personality and perspective because so many women bring kids into this life and I’m speaking on my Melanin Community because they are who I care about mainly..almost only..but I’m working on myself to see all life the same way. But to sit there and say she wasn’t ready because of her situation..not being able to provide happiness for (basically a child) a group of artists is selflessness at its finest. I just left a story where a white adopted a Black child and called the police on him ending up as a scare tactic gone wrong and it’s sickening but like Mary says "50/50 blame" cause these young boys don’t care enough to say let’s wait, let’s use protection, let me talk to my family who is still raising me, let me get a job, let me graduate first or even let’s talk this thru. We have come to far and still have so much to gain and even more to lose than any other ppl to be falling like we are.
Mary is an Amazing Woman and has been thru enough to help change our community if we are ready to listen, if our youth is willing to let someone with positive energy guide them. Her self focus is unmatched as her care for others and every word has a meaning..a message which is why her music will continue to be relevant. This woman delivers the truth when it comes to her atmosphere and don’t focus on any one else’s problems but her own…the problems that deserves her attention at the least. But most rather listen to and follow the trifling messages the industry has set them up for and meanings that makes them last place on this planet and they wonder why they can’t find love. Sometimes it is about what you say no matter how you say it
