- Christmas Came Early - For a GTR Family! The Christmas’s are no stranger to this channel, especially this year! Struggling to break down the barrier of 8 second passes and dive into the 7’s finally, this family and team has taken each event, one pass at a time. Entering the GTR - 4 Class of TX2K’s 2018 event, the Top Speed Motorsports built GTR put on a show as it slid and skated all 2,000HP down the epically prepped (by Jason Miller) track!

To answer the question about the final race - this is a rare scenario, but she staged in the second bulb really “shallow” (barely in the beam) - so the tree activated, and the car rolled backwards just enough for the Tire to roll out of the beam, causing the red light. Shitty deal, we really wanted to see that race too.

Its refered to as a "time out red light" you only have a certain amount of time to get into the beams once the other guy is staged. Thats how drag racing works. Asking for "reruns" is not how drag racing works, only street outlaws.
Cant blame auto-start. Ive seen turbo cars bump in and flicker the bottom bulbs 3 or 4 times. The starter started the tree before she was really "in". Thats why he was shaking his head.....

I love how she has her phone in the cup holder the whole time. She's definitely pretty relaxed the whole time which is a really refreshing take on how most drivers behave at strips.

Great job by a wonderful family. One thing, drag racing was already rather easy at the tamer levels. All these new just hold on and go systems suck, gets pretty boring. I love the days of using a clutch, having the fronts two feet off the ground, grinding from 1st to 4th with your Muncie M22 rock crusher manual in your 67 Chevy II. You could sit back and run in the 7's while drinking a Slurppy in this car. Bakersfield 2018 nastalgia drags be there.
