Vintage Classic 1925 Sunbeam Motorcycle Start Up and Ride

The start-up procedure of a 1925 Sunbeam 500cc Longstroke Sport with TT race carb. These motorcycles were known as the “Speedmans Machine” back in the day, and rightly so, they were quick and nimble and won many competitions including the Isle of Man TT.
The Longstroke, some would argue, is the epitome of Sunbeam and represents the firms quest for high quality and reliable craftsmanship, and fast, thrilling machines… anyway who said vintage motorcycles weren’t complicated!?

У моего отца до 41 года были мотоциклы. Во время войны возил с собой в самолете ЛИ-2 мотоцикл. Всего за жизнь было 27 экземпляров. Ездил на мото до 90 лет. Ушел из жизни в 2009. Может быть, что и такой у него был.

My Dad had a 1934 ish Sunbeam 500 with hand gear change. It was twin exhaust but a twin exhaust port engine not a, twin cylinder 500. Wish I could find one like it or at least some more information etc..
