Also, people buy fake because of the way they are treated by theses brands. I will never ever beg a company to buy from them like what people do with Hermes. Why would you beg anyone to spend your money in their company. I cringe every time I hear the CZcams influencers talking about their journey to get a bag with Hermes . It’s a form of worshipping a brand to me.
I can definitely understand this point. Some brands don’t do the best job when it comes to making people feel special when buying luxury (which it should be). But then, why endorse the brand by buying a fake and wearing their design and logo? Then we should opt for other designs and support independent craftspeople and small businesses instead. Something to think about.

I went to Studio Augusta when I went to Paris in the summer. I bought Monceau at yt: *preluxscom* to match. My only regret is not purchasing more. I really hope to get a mini Marley one day.

After the last Chanel price increase, I said ef it and bought a nice leather dupe(no logo) that I'll enjoy for a long time. I'd feel shame if I shelled out 10K for a 2023 Chanel.

I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) at *preluxscom* a few years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
My issue is counterfeit circulate as real. Some people fall victim to such awful practices

I'm all for buying real first....next try to find a cheaper designer brand making a similar bag. Let's face it sooo many of the silhouettes are the same/similar across all the brands....if that does not work and you really want it.....hit Canal street boo! At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *hotdups* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *condup* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it
You made very great points here!!!!This is not directed at you because I just came across this video and don’t know your background but I think SOME of the people on CZcams buying and showing these luxury items are one of the reasons the need for fakes has become so rampant. Buying expensive bags every week to do hauls and show how « elite » or « exclusive »we are and not thinking about the consequences it has on the world at large is a problem. The job of influencing is working. To each his own but how many of these bags do people actually wear on a daily basis?? How many different Chanel bags does one individual need? The term luxury has lost its meaning if these items are being purchased like $10 target bags. Young people see these cool portrayals of luxury and want to be a part of the exclusivity by any means necessary hence the fake bags. Just an opinion 😊
Very compelling point! Overconsumption of luxury goods, especially on social media, fuels this fast fashion approach to luxury that can misguide vulnerable younger people into thinking that this is something to strive for. Yes, people can collect to a certain extent. But there are indeed people who have unimaginably large collections of bags, shoes, and other luxury goods that can only make you wonder "how on earth do they keep track of all of that?" "Do they even use any of it?" In the world of luxury, needs are not fulfilled, it's more of wants. We can hoard till the cows come home. Thank you for talking about the return policy. I recently bought a felicie on the website and when it showed up at my door it was BEAT TO H*LL. Someone clearly used and abused it before returning. It had a huge crease down the side, the corners were bulging from being over stuffed, and the glazing was chipping *esluxscom*

I definitely Loved the video it’s really good!!! I have to say imo, I understand why people say they wouldn’t care about people buying dupes or fakes or why should people care. BUT, It’s not that necessarily people “care” about people having fakes, it’s the fact that people that have money to buy into luxury and invest it’s for a reason. Quality, quantity, and yes buying luxury as exclusivities. Because if I have the money, enjoy fashion, and the house brand etc. It’s not that I’m “bothered” by people buying dupes or fakes, but if I invest my hard earned money into that item, I wouldn’t want to buy that brand, or bag, or design and find something more than fit into my needs and wants as *esluxscom* . And nothing is wrong with that.

It makes me wonder how all these young women on CZcams afford Chanel flaps or Hermes Birkins / Kelly's considering , like you mentioned it isn't easy to obtain one in the store . My understanding also is that Hermes only makes a limited amount of each per month which when you think about how many ladies are doing a Hermes bag haul or a I was offered a quota bag video . I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a yt *hotdups* yt and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and assume wrongly whether is real or fake. it is extremely annoying

I know people personally who have so much genuine luxury brands yet they live in their mama house. I own my own home, drive a lexus and i do buy real mid luxury bags but anything over $1000 im getting a *esluxscom* and keeping money in my pocket.
The details between the bags are minor and anyone purchasing the *esluxscom* will not be worried about the stitching etc

Try traveling to Tokyo Japan they sell Original lux brands for less like LV , Channel , Gucci ,Coach ,YSL etc for less its still more pricey than the fakes and still in good condition i just dont know how the costoms works in the USA if they will still tax you 2nd hand lux items but sure either buy the brand new *esluxscom* you want or travel half the world away to buy 2nd hand lux items for few days that also includes your plane ticket hotel accomodations for how many days food and goodie stuffs for families and friends and other expencess but they said " original LV Bag from Japan for less " or just travel to Bangkok thailand and visit the Platinum Mall buy as many replica bags all you want w/o the hassel

Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *esluxscom* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *esluxs* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
I like real bags, but I have also bought imitation bags. The first few times, they were packed in very simple cartons, no gift box. Until I found out that many people on CZcams were praising H Q L U X Y . After trying to buy again, it turns out there will be a dust bag, gift box and card. They even stated that if the QC quality inspection fails, they will not ship to customers. I'm really surprised how much heart and soul they put into it.

I still love my LV reverse monogram *hotdups* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
Loved your video. In the case of jewlery, it’s been happening since the early 1900’s and this is why brands started adding their label or serial number. Gold is real and cannot be trademarked. I think the jewelry industry understands that they have a multi tier audience. I think luxury looks different for everyone and just because one is willing to send $$$$$ on a solitaire engagement ring from Tiffany’s doesn’t mean you can’t get the same quality from another jeweler that’s aligned with your budget like a private jeweler or a Jareds. I have found many vintage brands that made and sold popular handbags styles in stores like Bergdorf’s, Saks , Bonwit, Teller while also selling that high end brand as well. As long as the item has a brand name that matches the seller, or brand, I support it. Rachel Zoe has a VCA option but it’s had her brand to give an example. Great job!
Thank you! That's a really neat point you raised about serial numbers on designer jewellery! Some designs that are unique to a brand perhaps shouldn't be replicated. (people can do what they want). But there are definitely motifs in jewellery that aren't unique to designer brands that can be available everywhere.
Designer or not...the price of gold, silver, and diamonds is atrocious! So eitherway....people have been buying CZ since the dawn of time. I understand the "trademarking" but it falls into the same category.

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. I appreciate that you highlighted the fact that we dissociate from animal harm as well. This shows to me that we're definitely in no high moral ground. Whether we think the planet or animals are not worth as much as people being affected by terrorism or trafficking: That's another discussion. But at least we can rather than point fingers out start reevaluating our own choices when purchasing and asking companies to have better condition for workers. The report of chanel mistreating their factory workers Dacob talked about is one example of how we can make better choices and use our buying power.

I guess luxury handbags will no longer symbolize wealth or success, because anyone can buy a cheap fake handbag. I think that's a good slap in the face to people who wear luxury handbags to desperately try to show off their wealth.
I buy my luxury handbags from Hermes, Dior, Chanel, and LV because I personally admire Grace Kelly and Lady Diana, and because I genuinely love countries like Monaco, France, and the UK where these brands are associated with, and my handbags are associated with the priceless memories that I have made by travelling to these countries multiple times. I stayed at the Hotel in Monaco where Grace Kelly used, I stayed at the hotel in Paris where Coco Chanel lived for many years.
I would not get this kind of feeling of joy and satisfaction by wearing fake handbags.
So I personally think that it has been worth investing all that money on authentic luxury handbags for myself, because it was not only for the status symbol, but more for the underlying culture and the heritage and the history of the countries where these brands originated from.
People who wear fake handbags will never be able to feel proud like this.

I’ve never been sure exactly what SAs make in different luxury houses - it would be awful if they were just paid minimum wage given the grand prices of the merchandise they are selling. I’ve never directly asked an SA. I assume they do get sliding scale commission based on seniority on top, but who knows! Is the pay even sufficient to support the ridiculous cost of living these days? Especially since these luxury stores are situated in busy cities where rent is insane. I have heard that people working on the back end aren’t treated in the greatest way.
We just never know what goes on behind the scenes - it’s a matter of who is better at covering it up.

Caribou Coffee also also knowingly violated banking laws to use banks that support terrorist organizations. Sadly, being a legitimate business doesn’t make them an ethical business. I don’t buy fakes because they go on the very long list of unethical companies I don’t support, but I don’t pretend that Chanel doesn’t have human rights violations, that Balenciaga didn’t exploit children in their ad campaigns, that Chiquita banana didn’t purposely use Iranian banks…the list goes on and on. I do my best not to support the companies that I know do dirty things. Sadly, the list is getting LONG!

The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! It is a great feeling to have a luxury brand style knowing that you did not spend thousands of dollars for an item that simply makes you happy.
