Hey, great looking fly. I have noticed snook to be very destructive on flies, esp. maribou, how does this fly stand up tot he test of these fish? Thanks for sharing!

Your cover photo shows another layer of sparkly stuff wound on top of the palmered caribou. Or am I seeing things?. I think that addition would be perfect for night time around docks etc. Maybe a little much for daytime. Well done.

great pattern! most people do not "see" a simple, elegant, and effective pattern. ? what colors are most effective for baby tarpon?

Jake Finn white and red are very effective. Also black and purple, black and red, green and yellow, and olive and white. Usually I’ll change the color of the fly after a refusal before I switch up patterns, as the babies aren’t terribly selective about the pattern but can be very selective about the color. Gray, greenish back, white belly. No more than two inches, like little sardines. I get better results using circle hooks. I'll think this pattern matches perfectly
