Those Monster High carrying cases are so cool! I love stuff that doubles as display and storage. 😍Also, the idea that someone would be upset about you not knowing one Barbie when there are 60+ years of dolls is just silly. 🙄I know a lot about Barbie dolls, but I still often come across dolls that I don't recognize.

I'm already struggling with RH names and even though I grew up with Monster High, I still sometimes learn about dolls I never even existed. I think it's stupid for people to think you should know every single thing about something for you to be worthy enough to collect it?
Those accessory bags!! Wow, what a find. Just off the top of my head, you've got pieces there for Holly and Poppy O'Hair (bags you weren't sure about and some hair accesories), Coffin Bean Toralei, Picture day Spectra (earrings you weren't sure matched and the bag you weren't sure what was) and Frights Camera Action Operetta (bag, earrings and the mystery camera).
I think it is dot dead gorgeous spectra, not picture day! Both have the same earrings but the bag and the purple shoes with chains goes to dot dead so it is more likely her :)
Loved the video! So fun going through all the little stuff, jealous of how good your thrift stores are. I can never find anything good at the ones in my area. Here’s a list of everything I recognized! The little pink and silver perfume bottle goes to ghouls night out Rochelle Pink and yellow circular bubbly purse goes to picture day lagoona the pink and black spirit flag is from the fear leading 3 pack with Cleo draculaura and ghoulia (? Idk if it was a commonly reused piece so maybe not) The silver shoe with chains around the ankle goes to picture day spectra, along with the mismatched key and lock earrings. The weird shaped silver piece is her purse (25:27) and there are supposed to be black chains on it, I’m pretty sure you got those in the bag too. Black purse with pink hearts came with draculocker, same with the white hearts shoe.
It was a reused piece! I do have that 3 pack but none of the flags! But I think Student Disembody and Ghoul Spirit came with it too! Also oh my gosh all the PD Spectra stuff is so exciting- I have her incomplete! She will love all of her new stuff :) And it's definitely about finding the good thrift stores. Certain areas aren't as good with thrifting (Houston was AWFUL for me) so you have to seek other methods (flea markets, garage sales, swap meets or facebook groups/marketplace are all good options)- these are all also over an hour away from me because my area is also really not great for thrifting unfortunately!
@@xCanadensis that’s so exciting that you’ll have a bunch of pieces for spectra! I think the people in my area have unfortunately realized what they can sell MH stuff for. I live in a pretty small area, with the surrounding areas also being pretty small. So there just not a whole lot of good stuff in thrift stores but I always keep an eye out just in case :,)

I’ve learned to make a habit of ALWAYS checking that section where you found the monster high accessories. I once found a bag with 2000s princess Barbie that had a mix and match fashions set and a super glammed up Barbie with rooted lashes, and both of them had all their things separated from them in a bag on that type of wall. A lot of times the dolls you see that aren’t complete might actually have their stuff but just chucked in a grab bag along those walls. I’ve often recognized outfits or shoes stuffed in bags that clearly go to some of the nude or partially dressed dolls on the doll wall.😃
Frustratingly these Savers seem to intentionally separate stuff... I search the rest of the toy wall VERY deeply and usually come out with nothing but when I do find stuff it's always worth it. The reason I try not to check the section where I got the MH stuff today is because I have very poor self control and LOVE school supplies LOL
@@xCanadensis lol that is relatable! I usually do a quick scan along that wall just to see if any of the bags have particularly good miniature things in it. Like bitty Knick knacks that came from some grandma’s house that could be repurposed as doll house accessories. I also like to check the porcelain doll section for the same reason. They usually have really high quality outfits and also come on nice doll stands. So if one is the right size it can be a really fun way to get realistic looking sweaters and things for other dolls. I’ve found some gorgeous outfits for giant Amaya by buying porcelain dolls like they were fashion packs. Then take the clothes, save the wig, toss the creepy doll. 😆 (I say that from a place of love as I used to collect scads of porcelain dolls as a child when I wasn’t allowed to have fashion dolls.)
Your Monster High accessories was an exceptionally great find. The Skeleta accessories are sought after and expensive. Most of the gold stuff you couldn't identify came from high school play set. The blue genie bottle is 13 wishes. I think Frankie. I was about as excited watching you go through them as you were. I also liked the fairies you found.
Wow, those two bags full of MH accessories are beautiful! I recognized many accessories. There are accessories from Poppy and Holly O'hair. There is also the Skelita Scaritage belt. The big blue lamp is from Frankie 13 wishes and there are the earrings too. I also found my Moonlight B.B at the flea market, I begin to believe that she is not very appreciated, I love her. 💜🖤

That weird silver plastic thing you got that sort of looks like a squashed figure skate is in my opinion, the UGLIST purse in monster high. It belongs to Picture Day Spectra. You also got her shoes and her necklace which is a black chain. The other black chain you held up with it wraps around the purse. This was a treat! I love identifying Monster High items, so this was so much fun for me to be like I know that one and that one. Also, you said you dont know that much and proceeded to identify so much!!!! Bravo!
WOW that purse is foul! I actually have that Spectra without her purse so that works out :o I know A LOT of MH stuff but there's also a ton I don't know at a glance! MH stuff is at least easy to ID to the character :P
I am so happy for you Cass,I have that same Monster High doll case which was the one with the zipper you got I keep some of my dolls in,I wish we had a KidKid and Savers where I live and I can find plenty of stuff for my friends,family and me. I also love that LOL surprise doll you got I love how the blue and black go together,Also I am glad you got Cassandra from Tangled the series she's an awesome character. Also when you found most Monster High accessories in those plastic bags it reminded me of me find plastic bags of Monster High accessories my local Goodwill or any other Goodwill stores in my state or Flea Markets and yard sales.😁

Yes those were Dracubecca's wings! And that black stick-like piece where you said, "I don't know" is the handle to Dracubecca's umbrella. It looks like you got most of her accesories! And that weird bright pink piece you couldn't identify is the headpiece/hair accesory to Freaky Fusion Lagoonafire.
Such beautiful stuff, I love the 2$ cardboard MH case. I am a new collector. Dolls are so exciting but my bank account is quite agonizing right now. I need to be careful, because there is so much I want, and I do find decent prices second hand but it still ads up... 5$ for a bag of MH stuff is such a good price!!! I'd be over the moon, such a good find at this price.

I miss doing them! It's just random when we can and since it's so far and there's so much going on, it's just not feasible to do them every week like I would prefer :( When we move the thrift stores are far closer though!

I get it though, until we had a goodwill a few years ago we really did not have much for thrifting. Driving to any thrift stores was about 45 mins to an hr away. But the goodwill in the area now is actually pretty good probably being one of the only thrift places. We have a once upon a child and a cancer society shop but they are so tiny. I should try mercari. Oh I never notice your nails but I love the manicure.

Okay, for identification: the Teresa you picked up doesn't go to any Barbie Nutcracker stuff to my knowledge, but it is interesting that she has semi-articulated arms and no knees. If you ever have Barbie movie questions, I can usually answer them up to 12 Dancing Princesses, those were my childhood and I adore them, always happy to chat. In terms of Monster High accessories, I believe those silver shoes with the chain details go to the Haunted line's version of Spectra. It was really cool learning about Trixieville for the first time, oh they're so fun! And aaaaah, congratulations on Cass, that's such a fun find!
I loved the 12 dancing princesses and the barbie and the nutcracker those were my childhood and I was born in 2005 j just had the movies on vhs so I would watch them at my grandparents house
Someone probably already commented this, but the green thing you were talking about is part of the Secret Creepers pet playset! When the lid is set down, the pets can sit on it like a bed.

It’s nice that you got two of the trixyville girls. For me, If I get a random doll I always finding myself wanting at least two or three of them even if I don’t intend to actually dive into collecting the line. I think it’s because I don’t want them to look lonely on the shelf 😂
Oh it drives me CRAZY when my dolls don't have a friend on display... two will do for now. The third character should be pretty cheap to get a hold of though!

Oh wow! Rainbow High... and Moonlight bb. She is so cute! I only found one RH so far in a charity shop, nude but like new. So exciting! Now I only want to find some more! lol I like these 2 "mystery" dolls. They are unusual and cute. I would have bought them too. I love Cassandra. I have found one in the boot sale a few years ago. I love all the Disney store Tangled the series dolls. The MH/EAH bags of accessories are great. I used to find tons in boot sales. The past 2 years, I hardly saw any MH dolls or accessories 😥 The thrift stores in the US are huge. The charity shops here have a small toys section. I find quite a bit of things but never so many at once. The boot sales are big so there is more choice... and everything is ridiculously cheap. The prices are sometimes puzzling and uncanny but I don't complain!! 😉🙂
They were both very surprising finds! Normally the OMG's I find are older and nude! RH NEVER with stands... Boot sales sound so magical- I see the most insane hauls on Instagram! When I see people in the UK comment about the thrift stores here I'm always surprised that they seem to not mention car boot sales??
Boot sales are fantastic. I am addicted! I take the first bus early in the morning (and 2 more after that! lol) to get there each week! They open very early in the morning. I suppose you have to be motivated! For me it's great because I enjoy the day out. The 2 boot sales I go to are in farms in the fields. They alternate every two weeks from April to beginning of October. It is a day out of London for me. I enjoy the atmosphere and I see many people I like there. I don't know why people don't mention them. I suppose there are many boot sales all around the UK. The charity shops are very good too but I have to go in the boot sales areas to find good things and good prices. I love the area so of course, I enjoy it! The thrift stores in the US are huge. There is nothing like this here, only charity shops. I am always amazed how much choice you have. I love the videos where I can see the thrift stores. It is so much fun to see what you find. I also go to France to "boot sales". They are in fact called "vide greniers". They are great too. I haven't been to any in France in the past 2 years because of the situation. Great finds. I love Moonlight bb. She is so gorgeous. I tend to find omgs nude too but I did find a few with clothes and one complete missing only the accessories. I hope I will find more Rainbow High! It would be great! 😉

Random thing but the bowl of apples(pink and green) is from Barbie mini play set that is like an art studio. It has some objects for Barbie to paint and paintings of them, one of them is this bowl of apples :D PS: Oh, wow! The bags of accessories are a steal!

oh that custom sounds very cool! Those disney dolls are super common at thrift stores so I'm sure you'll find them! Kid to Kid is just a children's thrift store- they won't have the same dolls at every one nor will they always even have dolls! The one closer to me only ever has one or two and they're not interesting to me

My friend when I was a kid had a shocking collection of Breyer stuff and I remember she had little dolls too… so I’m thinking that’s why she was familiar? But that could be a newer version I’m not sure
I wish I had savers in my area I just checked and the closest is 1 hour and 30 minutes away 🤦🏻♀️. Hopefully I can figure out what other thrift stores are good in my area since I typically only know of goodwill. I also want to check out a flea market eventually I know of 1 in my area on the weekends 🤞

this is random, but do you have any tips on key words or how to search for boy dolls, like the ever after high boys, or monster high boys, even just their heads? I've been looking around ali express but maybe they're not as common? I wanna customize so I'm not looking to spend $18 per doll that I'm finding on mercari listings.
People will list as boy or man or ken. Search company and body mold year (mattel 2008 for MH boys I think is right? idk they're packed so I can't check haha but that's the date for the girls). Or "boy monster doll". I'd also just look at general mh and eah doll lots on Facebook Marketplace. I don't specifically hunt for boy dolls so I'm not especially knowledgeable in this area unfortunately

Take a week and go to all of the ones in each direction from you and take notes! Talk to employees if you’re up for it. That’s what I did two years ago when I moved in here
Seems the previous owner kept the accessories separate. Absolutely no way the savers employees spent /THAT/ much time separating things like the school playset stuff and the chains that were attached to PD Spectra's purse
I had that monster high room and my mom sold it when I didn't know and that was my only doll house this that I used all the time but I have a home made doll house and 2 rainbow highs and shadow highs and 1 jr high

I've been a huge fan of you and your vids for a long time, but haven't commented on any videos yet for some reason--going on a google hunt for these pieces was fun though, and hopefully you find this helpful! I adore your hauls, and sifting through all those accessories seemed like a BLAST! (:
I’ve learned to make a habit of ALWAYS checking that section where you found the monster high accessories. I once found a bag with 2000s princess Barbie that had a mix and match fashions set and a super glammed up Barbie with rooted lashes, and both of them had all their things separated from them in a bag on that type of wall. A lot of times the dolls you see that aren’t complete might actually have their stuff but just chucked in a grab bag along those walls. I’ve often recognized outfits or shoes stuffed in bags that clearly go to some of the nude or partially dressed dolls on the doll wall.😃
Frustratingly these Savers seem to intentionally separate stuff... I search the rest of the toy wall VERY deeply and usually come out with nothing but when I do find stuff it's always worth it.
The reason I try not to check the section where I got the MH stuff today is because I have very poor self control and LOVE school supplies LOL
@@xCanadensis lol that is relatable! I usually do a quick scan along that wall just to see if any of the bags have particularly good miniature things in it. Like bitty Knick knacks that came from some grandma’s house that could be repurposed as doll house accessories. I also like to check the porcelain doll section for the same reason. They usually have really high quality outfits and also come on nice doll stands. So if one is the right size it can be a really fun way to get realistic looking sweaters and things for other dolls. I’ve found some gorgeous outfits for giant Amaya by buying porcelain dolls like they were fashion packs. Then take the clothes, save the wig, toss the creepy doll. 😆 (I say that from a place of love as I used to collect scads of porcelain dolls as a child when I wasn’t allowed to have fashion dolls.)
Your Monster High accessories was an exceptionally great find. The Skeleta accessories are sought after and expensive. Most of the gold stuff you couldn't identify came from high school play set. The blue genie bottle is 13 wishes. I think Frankie. I was about as excited watching you go through them as you were. I also liked the fairies you found.
Wow, those two bags full of MH accessories are beautiful! I recognized many accessories. There are accessories from Poppy and Holly O'hair. There is also the Skelita Scaritage belt.
The big blue lamp is from Frankie 13 wishes and there are the earrings too.
I also found my Moonlight B.B at the flea market, I begin to believe that she is not very appreciated, I love her. 💜🖤

That weird silver plastic thing you got that sort of looks like a squashed figure skate is in my opinion, the UGLIST purse in monster high. It belongs to Picture Day Spectra. You also got her shoes and her necklace which is a black chain. The other black chain you held up with it wraps around the purse. This was a treat! I love identifying Monster High items, so this was so much fun for me to be like I know that one and that one. Also, you said you dont know that much and proceeded to identify so much!!!! Bravo!

Also when you found most Monster High accessories in those plastic bags it reminded me of me find plastic bags of Monster High accessories my local Goodwill or any other Goodwill stores in my state or Flea Markets and yard sales.😁

AGHHHH I'M SO JEALOUSSSS!!! I literally just picked up signature Holly O'Hair from that savers with her dress, belt, and stockings and there was also signature ca cupid there but she was missing a hand and her face looked kinda rough. Congrats on some really really nice finds!!!

I miss doing them! It's just random when we can and since it's so far and there's so much going on, it's just not feasible to do them every week like I would prefer :( When we move the thrift stores are far closer though!
@@xCanadensis oh that will be good if they are closer. I am so so so excited for you. The move, the house, the job, the doll room, all of it. It will be fun to see videos of the new doll room. I get it though, until we had a goodwill a few years ago we really did not have much for thrifting. Driving to any thrift stores was about 45 mins to an hr away. But the goodwill in the area now is actually pretty good probably being one of the only thrift places. We have a once upon a child and a cancer society shop but they are so tiny. I should try mercari. Oh I never notice your nails but I love the manicure.

Okay, for identification: the Teresa you picked up doesn't go to any Barbie Nutcracker stuff to my knowledge, but it is interesting that she has semi-articulated arms and no knees. If you ever have Barbie movie questions, I can usually answer them up to 12 Dancing Princesses, those were my childhood and I adore them, always happy to chat. In terms of Monster High accessories, I believe those silver shoes with the chain details go to the Haunted line's version of Spectra. It was really cool learning about Trixieville for the first time, oh they're so fun! And aaaaah, congratulations on Cass, that's such a fun find!
I loved the 12 dancing princesses and the barbie and the nutcracker those were my childhood and I was born in 2005 j just had the movies on vhs so I would watch them at my grandparents house
Someone probably already commented this, but the green thing you were talking about is part of the Secret Creepers pet playset! When the lid is set down, the pets can sit on it like a bed.

It’s nice that you got two of the trixyville girls. For me, If I get a random doll I always finding myself wanting at least two or three of them even if I don’t intend to actually dive into collecting the line. I think it’s because I don’t want them to look lonely on the shelf 😂

I love Cassandra. I have found one in the boot sale a few years ago. I love all the Disney store Tangled the series dolls.
The MH/EAH bags of accessories are great. I used to find tons in boot sales. The past 2 years, I hardly saw any MH dolls or accessories 😥
The thrift stores in the US are huge. The charity shops here have a small toys section. I find quite a bit of things but never so many at once. The boot sales are big so there is more choice... and everything is ridiculously cheap. The prices are sometimes puzzling and uncanny but I don't complain!! 😉🙂

Boot sales sound so magical- I see the most insane hauls on Instagram! When I see people in the UK comment about the thrift stores here I'm always surprised that they seem to not mention car boot sales??
Boot sales are fantastic. I am addicted! I take the first bus early in the morning (and 2 more after that! lol) to get there each week! They open very early in the morning. I suppose you have to be motivated! For me it's great because I enjoy the day out. The 2 boot sales I go to are in farms in the fields. They alternate every two weeks from April to beginning of October. It is a day out of London for me. I enjoy the atmosphere and I see many people I like there.
I don't know why people don't mention them. I suppose there are many boot sales all around the UK.
The charity shops are very good too but I have to go in the boot sales areas to find good things and good prices. I love the area so of course, I enjoy it!

I also go to France to "boot sales". They are in fact called "vide greniers". They are great too. I haven't been to any in France in the past 2 years because of the situation.

oh that custom sounds very cool! Those disney dolls are super common at thrift stores so I'm sure you'll find them! Kid to Kid is just a children's thrift store- they won't have the same dolls at every one nor will they always even have dolls! The one closer to me only ever has one or two and they're not interesting to me

Hopefully I can figure out what other thrift stores are good in my area since I typically only know of goodwill. I also want to check out a flea market eventually I know of 1 in my area on the weekends 🤞

this is random, but do you have any tips on key words or how to search for boy dolls, like the ever after high boys, or monster high boys, even just their heads? I've been looking around ali express but maybe they're not as common? I wanna customize so I'm not looking to spend $18 per doll that I'm finding on mercari listings.
People will list as boy or man or ken. Search company and body mold year (mattel 2008 for MH boys I think is right? idk they're packed so I can't check haha but that's the date for the girls). Or "boy monster doll". I'd also just look at general mh and eah doll lots on Facebook Marketplace. I don't specifically hunt for boy dolls so I'm not especially knowledgeable in this area unfortunately

Only use boiling water if the hair is excessively frizzy or rough-feeling! A good conditioning in warm water should fix it!
