A memory quilt is a great way keep patches from each item. You could make a memory book as well to go along with the quilt. A couple of pillows too from the fabric pieces.

When you were explaining what it felt like to go through those boxes, you kept justifying the way you felt. I want you to know that I think it's BEAUTIFUL that someone could be so passionate about something. I think it's what makes you an artist (and I know some might not consider the character of Miranda as "art", but I certainly do.). You put your HEART & SOUL into your work, and that is what has made you so successful and inspiring to many people, including myself. Thanks for your example.
You probably won't even see this comment, but I want you to know I can relate to how you're feeling. I served as a missionary for my church for a while, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. And when I look back on my time on my mission, it's extremely emotional. When I read my journals, or look at pictures, or see clothing I wore as I walked in the streets, memories come flooding back and it's a very raw, very real and very emotional experience for me. Every time.
I hope don't feel like you need to continue to justify why finishing with Haterz Back Off was so hard for you, because you have all the reason in the world to feel those things. You are an artist, but more importantly, you are a SUCCESSFUL and PASSIONATE artist... Regardless of your show being cancelled.
I am excited to see you continue creating. I would love to see you and Kory make some more sassy dance videos. :) You guys remind me so much of me and my gay best friend.

Colleen you are not being dramatic at all, Miranda is a huge part of your life and you got to do something that a lot of people only dream of and the fact that it came to an end is sad for you and that is perfectly understandable.
People often refer creating art, creating a story, creating a character as their baby. I don’t blame you at all for feeling like you lost a life. Especially when this character and story is very personal to you and contains so many elements of your own life and childhood. It’s ok to cry, reminisce and miss it Colleen!

Honestly... I don’t think you’re dramatic and I think it’s completely understandable how sad you are. BUT, the constant apologising and pre-empting of what your audience is thinking is so irritating and tiring. You're not being dramatic! I totally understand how you're feeling. I've been involved with many local theatrical productions and I relate to you. When you pour your heart out into a show and give it everything you've got, but all of a sudden the run is over and you'll never get to do it ever again, it's just devastating. But also so bittersweet.

You are NOT being dramatic. You literally have to go through the grieving process... exactly like how you explained a death in the family or a serious break-up. It’s so hard to look back on great memories that you won’t be able to make more of (in that specific way). It’ll get easier and there are great things on the horizon for you!

Haters Back Off was actually how I found Miranda in the first place, and thanks to the show now I watch your videos, Colleen! I'm so glad you got to make your dreams come true, and it's so amazing how much you were involved in that project, from writing to starring in it and everything in between. Even though the show is over, you're just getting started, and just think, soon some other girls making videos online may have their dreams come true by being in a new show you write, or you could release the song that someone dances to at their wedding, or you could star in someone's favorite movie. I remember watch this show a long time after it was made. When I found out it was Cancelled I was so sad. Colleen has come so far and I'm proud of you Colleen keep up the work. Don't worry I will never get over being sad that the show was cancelled.
I don't know why but watching this did remind me of going through the things of someone who passed away & when you said that it totally made sense & I just want you to know that a lot of us get it and understand what you're going through and don't think you're being dramatic at all! That's true. I havn't seen anyone telling her to get over it though, but I'm sure they're out there. That's a hard thing to take, and I don't think anyone could just 'get over it' so easily. It's not like she randomly decided to do a show and oh wellll whatever happens I guess... She put so much work into it that of course it's gonna be devastating to get cancelled and hard to get over.

It’s kind of like that feeling when you graduate from high school not knowing that would be the last time you’d see some of your classmates that you grew with. You look at your cap and gown and realize those 12 years of school have passed by and you will never be in the same room with all your classmates again. I had a class of 42. So we were very close. Those people are a part of you and always will be. Of course some go to college, start families, but no matter what you will always be a part of that class. ❤️ ❤️It’s okay, Colleen❤️❤️ My heart goes out to you!

I figured it out:
Colleen gets to live her live everyday as herself and Miranda is like a split personality in the sense that she’s basically her ‘other self’. Colleen has been living online as miranda for 10 years and has formed such a strong personality out of this character. But sadly Miranda only gets a few months on set to live her life and tell her story that Colleen has been making up in her head for years. And now that the show is gone it’s like Miranda doesn’t get to live her life anymore and Colleen is just left with a character. It’s like Colleen gets however many years to live her life and be appreciated and her twin sister only gets a few months of appreciation. It truly is sad and I totally understand how painful ending the Netflix show was for Colleen

Your tears don’t show dramacy, they show an emotional woman who has compassion and admiration for a show they spent a long time developing. Your creativity shined a light on this show and your character. So your sensitivity in going through your props and costumes shows you being human, and that’s a beautiful thing to see. Vulnerability and sensitivity are attractive qualities in a woman because it shows their soft spots and it allows you to see right through them. Haters back off is a show about love and family and whatever form that takes. I’m sure you had a lot more to tell and your brain will continue to create and invent stellar unique things. It’s not the end Colleen, it’s just the beginning. When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window; never forget that and the people who love you for you.😘💋
