So, that's where that cell phone connection is supposed to be on my car? Just between the shifter and the center console lid. But mine has an open and close switch, for the convertible top. Supposedly, my car is supposed to have a cell phone connection, where I can plug in a bluetooth adapter, but it's missing from the center console. There is a bunch of empty connectors, in the right rear, lower section of the trunk. Not sure if there is a connector for the bluetooth adapter or not?
I have a 2003 Mercedes e320, the radio system has the fiber optic, so I need to buy a BUS decoder to make it work when I connect or it came with it? Thanks

aftermarket head unit.. installing a camera is hardly a mystery

It's a wireless transmitter unit. The camera transmits to the little box up front with the led on it and tiny little Ariel sticking out of it which you saw him connect to the video in port of the head unit.
Hello, the wi-fi transmitter acts as a connector in this case wright, Avoiding the need to install the wires through the car body until the video input ?

One more for this question...only thing I'm hesitating with to give this a shot.
I got a camera with my android head unit for my w211 problem is it isn't one of these transmitter ones and I'd need to run wires the length of the car I'm thinking of buying a transmitter one like this....only thing for met to verify is how to do that last bit of wiring. Only bit I'm not confident of in setting it up.

one is from the positive for the power for the camera, the other one is the signal tied with the yellow RCA cable, you tie the other side to the front head unit.

Hello- first off I followed your step by step instructions to install my Seicane android unit successfully!! Thank you so much.
I had put off installing the wireless camera and I did it a few days ago and while looking for a power source in the trunk, I saw the cigarette lighter and tapped into it. The camera powers up but there is so much distortion. I have to follow your instruction for the power:-)
Where is this plug located that you have powered the camera with? I have to disassemble the trunk so it’s best to know the exact location so I just go to that portion. Please let me know.

Amazing Road TV so I rewired and tapped it into the reverse light like you have done and it works but there is a lot of flickering and blurry lines across the screen while reversing. Any idea why? A lot of people are using relay switch to mitigate that. I'm not a fan of buying the camera with the number plate light and then melting half the number plate light casing away. I am planning on fitting a reversing camera to my C Class pretty soon, I already have complete new 18 SMD LED number plate light units (rather than just put LED bulbs in the standard housing) and will not remove one to fit a reverse camera. I am going to go down the route of a new number plate surround that has a built in camera, I then get the ultra bright number plate lights (that do not flicker and are much brighter than just replacement bulbs) and also a reversing camera that does not look out of place.
Then all you have left is to replace the TRASH model you got to a REAL Mercedes like the E, CLS, CL, or S class! Hahaha
