I saw Jimmy Herring in a small field festival in my small ass hometown of Morgan County, GA and I had no idea who he was. I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Shortly after I started attending Panic shows for the first time and saw him and was blown away that that was the same guy. Watching him in front of a few hundred people and then watching him from the nosebleeds. What a humble and extraordinary guitar master. I grew up on Panic but once I saw them live a fire was lit that I knew I would never be able to put out.
And this is why Ive always loved WP and their covers...This and Fairies Wear Boots are my favorite covers. They closed St.Louis with it in 2014...I was still buzzing from Phases of the Moon.
