Really well done video and this sales guy is legit
Thank you for the positivity!
He's a pro. Friendly, laid back, knowledgeable, and most importantly he is not combative or condescending like a ton of these other dudes on YT.
🙌🙌🙌
rule number one of becoming mature in roof sales work, stop slamming other roofers, yours guys will at some point make you eat your words, always be the nice guy no matter what.
Dude made another chunk of cash the second they agreed to vinyl siding 😂
💪 Great Guy. We need more guys like this in our industry.
Thats why insurance rates are so outrageous and raising. Getting a siding job for 2 chips is crazy lol
Can’t color match sun faded vinyl so you have to replace it all if you want it to look half decent.
Insurance scam
They shouldn’t insure these piece of shit houses
This guys a beast!! I learned a lot thanks for the video!!
Absolutely! Thanks for commenting 🙏

100%! Me too
This man gets it. Class Act
Agreed!
Would love to see a retail inspection and presentation
These guys don’t know retail that’s the problem. You ain’t selling 18m in retail market
@@michaelmckenna3319 I've seen that in Florida with tile large tile roofs. You need very large projects.
This guy says a lot ‘my recommendation’ ‘here’s what I would do’
Smoothest sales rep
Agreed 👊❤️
Great content, Tim!
Appreciate that
Do you guys have some quick tips for running around with a videographer while you're doing these? Do you ask the customer(s) about being on camera beforehand?
Whats the program they use when they show off the colors for the house @10:19 ?
what programs do you use to show the customers the model of there house?
This is Dope
Thank you 🙌💯

Thank you so much! Just started managing a sales territory and I love the way he teaches. Will share this knowledge with my reps. I appreciate it ❤️
About to start this job next week. Do you ever feel unsafe/uncomfortable in your heydudes?
Might not be a terrible idea to get some cougar paws if you’re going to be on steeper roofs. But hey dudes and there’s a few other brands that have softer soles which apparently are good on roofs - talk to your team though, for more specific info!
how’s the job goin?
What program was he using to show what the siding would look like?
OC Platinum !!
How did you beat state farm.? In similar situation
Great topic for a video with Dan
How did he land an entire street?
Where is this located? Got to be Oklahoma
Wisconsin
Anyone know what state this is in?
Hudson, Wisconsin
Can you help us get more commercial clients. We have 7 crews, 6 years experience, 0 fuck ups.
$43k for roof AND siding on that first house? YIKES
Are you saying that’s low or high
@@HookAgency lowlow
I thought low too
Plastic siding sucks
Oh man dangerous territory telling a woman what color to pick you’re a brave man. 🤣
I used to do this its a scam
lol - roofs are a scam? As in people don’t really need roofs?
@@HookAgency no roofs aren't a scam but when we go up there for a "free inspection"(making false damage)
@@HookAgency the process is when the home owner makes a claim we tell them their rates don't go up we make the insurance company pay well we do but we fuck the homeowners out of the whole check and tell them it won't exceed the price the insurance company will pay and its a little bit of a process but its a scam its an insurance scam and it's fraud
@@HookAgency and anytime the homeowners are making claims the insurance rates goes up
@@JamieJonesyt ok - to be clear, most roofing companies don't do that. The company you were working for was one of a fringe group unfortunately.
dont wear sunglasses when talking to customers
Don’t comment negative stuff on peoples videos who spent a whole day making content with a high performer for you 😜
the job is sold. He's playing with house money and just picking colours
i love it, but, i stopped halfway through this video to say i dont wanna do buisness w a man hiding his eyes, get thise shades off slim. not the best idea your not making a movie your doing buisness. whatre you doing. we can tell your the one learning im wondering if the big man didnt tell you to take those off when face to face, dont like it, and i wasnt a customer just a spectator.
okay
I worked for a roofing company as a marketing professional in-house. One of the first things I was told by our sales rep when riding along with him for content and filming was to NEVER wear sunglasses when dealing with homeowners or other business owners. Even though I wasn't selling or a part of our sales team, it was still an important rule they wanted me to follow. Learned that day that homeowners and business owners feel more comfortable when eye contact can be made, which adds a more personal aspect to the process.
@@G-Maumee I’ll definitely take ya’all tips. Funny Dan sold 150k before lunch with a guy still wearing sun glasses 😂
I get what you’re saying with the shades on while conducting business. You have a point if “Slim” was the only salesman there and if it were a cold lead. However, these were very warm leads. Rapport was already built and solidified. And “Slim” was introduced as a “trainee”. Lastly I’m a sales person myself. There are days where it’s extremely sunny outside and I have to wear my shades when talking to customer. In a respectful manner I let them know pardon my shades but I had a TBI while in the military. I tend to get a bad migraine with bright light. They smile and understand.
You really did yourself a disservice by not watching the video til the end! It was great content 👌
