Pattoli is a dessert, basically it's a steamed rice sweet dumpling which is quite popular Konkani cuisine. This recipe is predominantly prepared during the Nagara Panchami festival.
The best part about this recipe is that these dumplings are steamed not fried and they are steamed in turmeric leaves which gives out an unique fragrance and flavour to the dish.
