    Great! Imagine if Toast can even develop into AI one day. The algorithm will identify customers preferences while the customer is making his/her reservation. Imagine a PA popping up in a virtual chat helping to make your reservation, maybe asking if you like to have the same wine like last time (name of the wine). Astonishing! Or better not, if you are making reservation in confidential mode, your PA will not interrupt you and act like if it's your first time at the venue... even asking your name and details..hu? Maybe this time you are going there with your love... while last time you where there with you ex girlfriend.

    We were sold this system six months ago , we have it now, thought it was superb , except for last Saturday night. We were having an extremely busy night (finally) when the whole system went down. We were “toast” right in the middle of service. We couldn’t take orders , get tickets to the kitchen , or close out . Insane and horrible ... Our other restaurant at the other end of town had this issue and also other area restaurants suffered the same problems. We did have internet - so it wasn’t our high speed service provider . We are hoping to get clear answers today on why, but after hours on the phone with Toast support over the weekend, we are still waiting for answers.

      ill agree this setup Rotts. BUT your comment reminds me of when me & friends went to Red Lobster one night their system Shut down & they couldn't take any orders.
      heres the Good News for your Restaurant & others. theres Been a NEW invention recently! it's called a PEN & a Piece of PAPER, HELLO!

    The worst POS system, charge $350 just for software fee monthly, can you believe that? The the hardware they provide also ugly.

      $350 isn't a lot of money for a restaurant. It removes all of the paperwork and you have support. The support I guess you thought was free.

    Installed at my restaurant. Training short and pathetic. Half the people could even see what was going on. Online available training would be better. So far it is a restaurant nightmare.

      @@Toasttab Hire me, have over 3.5 years of GM experience at a large restaurant and bar. Only 25 years old, was the youngest GM of the owner's five locations ever. Took business from 1.1 million in sales to over 2 million a year. I could flourish in providing customers the appropriate way to operate the Toast POS. I have an associates in hospitality management and love the food/bar industry. Looking for 65-70k a year plus benefits. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

    We did sign contract and we paid deposit for equipment 9 months ago . They never send equipment and anybody give us information. We called many times but no body give back our deposit... I have a question are you thief if you are We have to know this.pls don't trust toast . Tithes company is .....

    Please don't use this company. As soon as they went big with IPO they forgot the little guys that made them big. Been with them for 2 years, one beautiful day the whole system acting up, contacting help desk for 3 weeks straight without a fix, and continue to refused to send a tech out saying they only serve New York area. It was a nightmare.

    12/20/2017 We started to use the toast pos system. The equipment often needs to be updated. The machine often does not work. When the customer asks for a refund. We provide the guest's photo and invoice signature when taking the meal. Submit all written evidence according to their requirements. Their company doesn't care about you at all. Still refund the money to the customer. As long as the customer asks for a refund, you 01/23/2023 Our restaurant lease expired. We called the toast company and told them. We The restaurant no longer uses any of their pos system services. Asked to stop using toast. But 02/08/2023 we found out that their company continues to charge. So we called again to tell them. We asked to stop using the toast system. Every time they answer the phone .I will be asked to provide my address, name, position, phone, email account and toast account number and password. I am also asked to provide the turnover of the last day. When I reply one by one, they tell me. Send me an email. According to the information they collected. In After 2 working days, we can stop using the toast system. No more charges. After 2 working days. They did not tell me whether they successfully stopped using it. 03/08/2023 and 04/08/2023 for two months I looked at the bank account. Their company did not charge arbitrary fees. But on 05/08/23 their company charged me a monthly fee. 05/11/2023 Their company has stolen fees for two consecutive months. A total of three thefts in one month We went to the bank to ask for a refund. They refused to refund on the grounds that our company still uses the POS system. Our restaurant uses services from other companies. All monthly fees are closed after one phone call. Insurance fee, co2 fee, liquor license fee, water and electricity fee, gas fee, etc. are all settled in one phone call. Except for the network, which needs to be canceled after signing the email. Also theft monthly fee
