God allows suffering, God redeems suffering. But why does God allow pain and suffering, why does God allow bad things to happen, and why does God allow cancer? We can participate in the cross of Christ by uniting our suffering to that of Jesus, we can experience redemptive suffering. This video shows how cancer is a blessing for Fr. Steve Chemo was physically painful, facing death was a wake-up call, but in the end, God used this experience to invite Fr. Steve into a deeper relationship. God can make good come out of evil. We have great dignity in our suffering. Pray in times of suffering. Although Fr Steve is a cancer survivor, he shows how we can face death well. His testimony expresses how as Catholics we suffer and how to cope with cancer and facing our own mortality.
