Watching a song like this is a pleasure, seeing the band tackle some material Tarja flat out murdered with Floor at the mic is so much fun to see how the vocal stylings get tweaked for the performance. Thanks for an enjoyable reaction.

I like the feline outro! One of our cats looks like your black n white one. His name is jack but our daughter seems to think he is called Jack stoppit jack dammit jack let go jack. And today he was playing with the toggle on my hoody which is elasticated. He then decided to try and take it with him by jumping off the arm of the chair with the plastic end in his mouth. Which promptly flicked back up and hit me on my forehead. I now call him wtf Jack :D

I really enjoy watching your Nightwish journey. I'd like to recommend that you react to Ayreon - The Day That The World Breaks Down. Ayreon is a musical project of Arjen Anthony Lucassen in which he composes albums based on storylines or themes. He usually records guitar and bass and invites other musicians to complete the album. In this song, he has 11 singers that each play the role of a particular character, which the video does a good job of showing who is singing. Think of it less as a song and more as the first episode of a musical journey.

hate to say this considering i love Floor to bits, this song makes me miss Tarja - end of an era 2005 with Tarja this song is much darker and smoother imo but best a reactor decide for this

@@Meine.Postma I certainly did. I started my Nightwish journey in early march and I am loving "sharing" the discovery of new songs by some of the reactors. I cracked up with the windmilling everywhere in halloween. Next time they play in Buenos Aires, and provided borders are open, I will cross the river and get to their concert. Probably won't be able to windmill as Argentinian crowds are tight, saw Lacuna Coil there a few years ago and I could not move an arm just jump up 'n down.
@@ldamicoh I discovered them last year december, I'm Dutch and to my shame I had never heard of Floor. Nightwish is now my favorite band.
@@Meine.Postma oh I soooo envy you! are you attending Floor's AFAS shows? I've been a metalhead since '87 heard nightwish in the 90's but I was not in the mood for Tarja's mostly operatic songs. I do appreciate her more nowadays, but once I gave Nightwish another listen with Floor I was caught and yes I am a total Nigthwish / Floor fan.

This is one of the songs that was obviously not written for Floor to sing. She sounds a bit off, maybe it is because she tries hard not to sound like the original, i don`t know. This is not Floors best songs to do live.
Tarja version is much better 😏
