We finally have some progress and I am so excited that I was able to talk to the US Embassy,Manila and knew about the scheduling our appointment ourselves than waiting for them to contact and or schedule us. I hope you are able to get some information from this video. Stay tuned for part 2 on how I was able to secure an interview slot for my father. 🙏

“You should only answer this question If the beneficiary will apply for an immigrant outside of the United States.?
The reason i leave blank is I am the applicant so i will the one applying immigrant visa for my mom. Was it right?

Before you call US embassy manila, the NVC sent you an appointment interview schedule already, right?
I cannot call US embassy to secure an appointment if NVC does’nt send an schedule?

Hello! Thank you for this video! Asking for my dad’s petition. He has a class IR1 (US citizen spouse) and we got an email from the US Embassy in Manila that my dad’s petition is in final processing. They also sent us information on what to prepare for the interview. But we never received any interview appointment for my mom yet. Is it good to call the embassy and ask if we can schedule the interview? It’s been about 3 weeks since we last heard from them.
Hello Harlene! Congratulations! You will have to wait for the Embassy to schedule your mom’s visa appointment OR (in my case) go to the cgifederal website and secure your interview slot yourself. I doubt the later option to be much faster and convenient. Allow at least 2 weeks or more so you have enough time to get the medical examination done before the interview ☺️

Hello! Normally, the NVC will forward your petition to the US Embassy once your case is documentarily qualified. Then you will wait for the US Embassy to give you your visa interview schedule. But with my case, I took the initiative to check their cgi (scheduling website) to secure my father’s interview slot☺️ I suggest taking the same route as US Embassy is a prioritizing first come first serve basis. ☺️

It still says your case is under active reviewed. We did and expedite which my wife called the USCIS to asked but they said it's approved but it's 4 months since we expedite but our case is still not been fast processing.

Hello Felevan! Thank you so much😍 give it a month and call them to check which visa center is processing your case. With mine, it took 6 months to get an approval but that’s when they were slowed down due to the pandemic. They are catching up on the delays now so yours would be faster to process I believe. One tip is to bug and call them once a month😂

Hello! We received an email regarding our Visa Status. Upon checking we saw that the status of the visa is now ready. We already filled out the forms and registered through CGI. But when I'm at the Step 8 at CGI Stanley website (after Step 7 "Specify Documentation Delivery"), the system needs to confirm the case ID. However, it prompts that the case ID cannot be found. What to do? 😭
Hello Diana. I’m sorry for the late response. I’m sorry to hear about your trouble with your case ID number. There has been quite few people reaching out to me about the same matter. One of them reached out to NVC via email asking to verify and correct the case ID that was sent to them versus what’s the immigration have in their records.

I thought only the NVC will schedule the interview? Can my petitioner also request a slot for interview for me as I was documentarily qualified this october but still at NVC or we need to wait for the status to be “Ready” before calling US embassy manila to secure a slot for interview? (Case type- i-130 child of petitioner)
Hello. I really apologize for the very late response. You may send an email to the US Embassy to request an expedite interview schedule but there’s no guarantee. It still depends on the urgency of your reasoning. Also, yes you need to wait for your case to be in “Ready” status before you can as for an interview schedule otherwise you will not be entertained by the US Embassy. Hello po. My ceac status is READY and it's been 2 weeks i haven't receive any welcome letter from US Embassy Manila regarding the interview schedule. Can i book to CGI by myself or do i need to wait for their email regarding the interview. My problem is the slots are getting fewer. So i'm pressured to get one by myself...

@@precyramal3132 Hello. Once you have successfully submitted your NVC requirements, like yung civil documents and affidavit of support, Wait niyo Lang po na mag respond yung NVC. Either they’ll ask for more requirements if needed or they will Documentarily qualify your case. Once po na ma approved na ng NVC yung case niyo, they will forward it to US Embassy. Then you will receive a date for interview Kung May slot na for your applicant. 🙏🏼

I called the US embassy and they were irritated that I tried asking about information like you did so easily. They ended up telling me to call the NVC.

@@MaricelSuniega we are IR1 as we have been married 4 years now., may 22 2022 DQ to Jun 23 got an email saying the case was expedited., However I don't know why I got an email saying expedited as I didn't make an expedite request however I was going to see if I could shortly if I had to wait any longer.
I don't know how long the in transit will be from what I understand could be a week could be 3 weeks ?
I'm excited that we are so close to interview now. My wife is finishing up some computer and culinary art classes she was taking while waiting for our case to move.
