The parents did a really great job by reporting to the Hornbill TV... It's not only the school infrastructure problem here but there are lots of inside story in this particular school, I wish they could interview the principal too. I hope that I would get to see the renovation soon as I walk pass by...

Poor Quality work.
It's a Crores Project.
And the work is only
few lakhs.
Those contractors will not die but will suffer from generation to generation...
Need to go for the roots. Out of 100, there is minister cut/UG tax/Party cut/GST etc all makes upto more 40-50% of the fund. So tell me how are contractors going to utilizes the fund properly. And tbh yes, in every institute there is dirt but it's not always the contractor. Almost all the time , it's from the Top. An ocean of funds but on ground reality, there are only drops on water whenever it reaches the Contractors. So we need to consider this issue and raise voice against it, for greater benifits of all individuals and communities.

It is much worst than govt schools..
School Managing staff should take up this issue very seriously and sort it out at the earliest on priority basis..
And it is very good to see parents using the right platform to voice out their grievances..Hope it reaches out to the concern authority.
Who are the ones responsible for the project/contract? It's evident that they embezzled the funds. They basically stole the public's money and stole from the Union of India.
KVK's are premier Central Govt. Schools with highly qualified teachers to facilitate local students as well as students of Central Govt. employees.
Take KVK Khanapara, Guwahati whose infrastructure is better than any of our Pvt. Schools in Nagaland.
Now, the question is who embezzled the funds for the infra development of KVK Lerie.

It is a great shame.As it is a central school CBI probe should be initiated.
KV is an central government runned school.......

I just live below that school, and ive heard the principal doesn't even take the education of children that serious, the money they get from Central goes directly into the authorities pocket
Better you should enhance your knowledge about sponsoring agency that is CRPF Kohima before blaming the Principal. It is not like a small private school. It is a chain of Central Government schools and it has its own rules and regulations and different sponsoring agencies who takes care of land and building.
Better to prepare your knowledge well before speaking about any government agency.
They can't make school building? Why ? The first question. The school is running inside the crpf camp where the land belongs to them then why they are saying that the land is not theirs. The school building must repair n replace the necessary materials at the earliest. DIG should have reported to the concern authority immediately after the storm. Pity for the helpless students.
Govt. should take necessary action to provide the quality education and infrastructure to the students. Adventurous steps taken by the parents for the welfare of students. Education ministry, KVS Headquarter and Sponsoring agency CRPF must take adequate action to reform these type of problem related to the future of these Students.
From my view whenever there is a crpf camp.in kohima it's just a mess.
The roads, buildings, and etc.. Near their premises are totally always in its worse conditions.
Inside their camp, somehow it's maintained to a standard like medical cases.. It's really frustrating..
Hopefully the govt. Will do justice

The concerned authorities should take appropriate action
Kendriya Vidyalaya is not a private school, the CRPF is the authority of the land, building and all the school infrastructures. The principal is not responsible for this impairment, let's not circulate false assumptions and not be devoid of administrative knowledge too....... Evidently, this is a negligence by the CRPF authorities. The students are vulnerable at such state.

Negligence reasons may be low enrollment, or majority of students are Nagas. Otherwise no other reason to neglect the school.
