- Derry is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Although it is a town and not a city, Derry is the fourth most populous community in the state. The town's nickname, "Spacetown", derives from the fact that Derry is the birthplace of Alan Shepard, the first astronaut from the United States in space. Derry was also for a time the home of the poet Robert Frost and his family.

Derry is a beautiful town , been here since 2003 and love living here , your only 45 min to an hour from lakes region / mountains and saltwater beaches ... perfect area !

wow! this video was a blast! I grew up in Derry on Windham road, just before you get to the Bowers Road intersection! You went right through my old neighborhood! I just couldn't catch a glimpse of the house where I grew up because it sits back too far off the road. But, virtually nothing has changed since I left there in 1998! There is a huge Walgreens and CVS that weren't there before and St. Thomas Aquinas church was a dark brown color when I was there, not the white it is now and Bowers Road was dirt 95% of the way. Great to see somethings lasted - USA Subs was a favorite haunt of mine for years, Mary Ann's was the place to be for breakfast, especially on weekends, the golf course is still there (though I never played there) and the McDonalds that was the only thing open late for many, many years in town. What memories! Haven't been through Derry in almost 15 years now, but it's amazing how much has never changed. Thanks for this awesome trip down memory lane!

Yes. I've lived here my whole life. Sometimes you can hear the children calling and screaming from inside the drain, but you learn to just block it out after a little while.
