The problem with these new PSA slabs is that the sonic seal around the slab is super rough and not clean. If you look around the slab on the seal you can see the thick dispersed welding seal which lowers the eye appeal of the slab. It’s because they have an internal slab welded to an outer slab, and you can see that thick rough welding around the slab. PSA needs to fix this quality issue with these new slabs to make the seal cleaner and thinner.
That's one thing that I absolutely hate about the whole graded system especially with PSA.. Their specifications are not strictly defined and it leads to all sorts of issues. Beyond that I absolutely hate the fact they will artificially lower grades in order to increase scarcity or slightly raise them depending on the client. In order for it to have an actual value and not be influenced by the person grading they really need numeric guidelines in place. But reality is it's just like any other high value market like watches or art and the value of the rating and item are only determined by what the community decides upon.

I widhe they would improve their grading and the people who are doing it. PSA is taking fire in that area more than anywhere else.
