I lost my mom to cancer, two of my children have fought blood cancers, I have also...You truly shared a beautiful tribute to her, the picture!! That’s is the greatest gift you can give! I'm brought to tears as I lost my mom in June last year and it was all in two weeks. She was told she had cancer and they would operate a week later. Night after surgery she started to decline. The next day they said you're dieing. We got her home on Thursday night and early Monday morning she went home to heaven. So hearing about your mother-in-law broke my heart. My mom was kooky loved to dress up even if we sometimes thought it was over the top. Sound like the moms would have been good friends.

Ciao Katia, i'm so impressed that you thought about your all family, i mean special gift to anyone, so sincere small things that make us happy every day, i'm gonna prepare gifts to all my big family as well, you inspired me so much i live in Italy my family in Kazakhstan i miss them so much so i can bring my gift only in summer🥰😛, my sincere condolences to you and your husband's family, i understand how hard it is, seems like she was amazing person, so moving gift i mean it's needed, many years ago i lost my mom, but when she was alive i'v painted her pic she asked me why she didn't painted her with dad together like in picture, i didn't know why, well life is like that we lose loved ones but find power in ourselves to live ahead, and remember them as they were happy. ciao Katia take care yourself&family. xo🥰

So did anyone else notice that while Katia talking about her mother in-law , left screen, in the upper staircase there is light and shadow changes. It probably an editing fluke, or hubby/curtains changing the lighting. It just caught my attention. Nevermind , I rewatched video and see it happening in other part of video, my eye was just drawn to that area while you talked on your family loss. You and your family. are in my prayers during this time of grief. These gifts boxes you put together for your family are so eloquent to each person. As always your DIYs are spectacular.
