BABOK defines the following knowledge areas

is a bachelors in business data analytics worth it ( the program has machine learning business finance and a programming course aswell )or is something general like Econ or Computers better ? I wanna do a masters afterwards most probably in Computer science or IT

@@aena5995degree is good but get a job or do a boot camp so that you can get into the job market. Masters is irrelevant in this field in my opinion. I’m a finance major worked and took boot camp class to get an entry into IT. I have zero regrets.

I mean do the companies take services of external independent Business Analysts on contract basis or they only prefer their own business analysts? Please enlighten

It's depend on the companies, but always there is a chance of such contract, because if your solution are on point then they definitely hire you for short or long period
