They debuted this song on Saturday Night Live in NYC in April 2019. It was the first time I ever heard of them. I'm also not a rap fan but they did Mic Drop next... and I really really liked it. When I got up the next morning I looked them up on Google. And within a year, I had heard every one of their songs, watched all their videos, seen most Run BTS episodes, Most of their short series (American Hustle Life, Bon Voyage, Summer and Winter packages, Bangtan Bombs, BTS Episodes... (Yes, I'm retired - and they saved me from a long slow death) Even now I still have a wonderful time keeping up with all the content. I grew up with the Beatles but I've never seen anything like BTS. 💜😇💜usa
I also first saw them on SNL! I bought Boy With Luv from iTunes immediately, but didn't begin to consume their material wholeheartedly until late last year. They have a joyfulness that is contagious!!!

My first BTS song as well! The references to Singing in the Rain, my favorite musical, hooked me immediately. Especially RMs solo, the lamppost, the couch, and even the posters in the movie theater. What a great song! The lyrics are poetry.
When I first found BTS at the American Music Awards, they caught my attention because of their choreography, their ability to sing and dance and change formations and do it with such synchronicity, all the crowd singing along and cheering, reminded me of the Beatles. I've never looked back since I found them, and I started looking into other KPOP groups at the time but there is something that those other groups do not do, is create hit after hit of memorable songs, catchy tunes and lyrics. I find too many of those songs as awkward, the choreography is there but the song is not catchy, it's chopped up, the melody is awkward. When I saw their Mic Drop, Dope, Fire, etc. there was no looking back with such diversity and catchy tunes, I fell into the rabbit hole of BTS. BTS is the ONLY group I have bought all their albums and downloaded all the solo mixtapes and songs. I didn't even like rap, or Hip hop till BTS. They are the only group that warrants my support and buying their albums. I get a whole album of great songs even B-sides, while other groups may have one or two songs, like one hit wonders that I would listen to. I have BTS on my playlist which I can listen to for hours, there is no need for other groups.

And because of the culture, they are very loving and affectionate towards one another. Heck no would you find that here in the United States w/ our hip hop groups and even our boy band groups---they would NEVER be affectionate like this. It's the asian culture too. People who don't understand hate on them for being close like they are. There is no other group in my 44 years of life like BTS...and my favorite groups are like Muse, Depeche Mode, 21 Pilots.

If BTS's MIC DROP & Fake Love "opens DOOR to the western market" then this song is a "hook" to stop it from closing ever again. BTS PAVED THE WAY~ Halsey is such a dear, she is the perfect person to collaborate with BTS and the fact that they are best friends till now, speaks volumes about the great personality that BTS n Halsey has.
This is so fun with happy vibes and Halsey is a great friend to the guys and is Army. I love it and the fact that both Suga and V have blue hair! It's so true about them being brothers. There's a video by Bangtan Subs of the BTS Prom Party where Jin and V are rehearsing for the song It's definitely you from V's Kdrama Hwarang and it shows how these guys play and tease each other just like family. Halsey is the ARMY queen. She joined one of their concerts and did this song live. She danced with the boys. You can see her struggling with her breathing but that did not stop her. When she gave birth the BTS announced that they are uncles. She gifted them with friendship bracelets and they gave her a colored mic ( same as theirs).

What can i say about this MV besides it has and is full of my favourite colour (ever since i was little) pink, ok im going to start with my bias Jimin his hair OMG and the way he is dancing in this MV just takes my breath away, like the start when he sings “hows your day” it takes me back to when he asked armys on twitter for about a week before this song cane out be kept asking how everyones day has been and it was lovely also im just in love with his little smile he does aswell and then you get the 3 Js aka Jimin, Jungkook and JHope dancing together that also mazed me, then as i said befor RM and JHope were two of my bias wreckers well it was because of this MV and his smile as he rapped that made Yoongi become my third bias wrecker (before D2 came out which was when he became my ultimate bias wrecker) his little gummy smile just pulled at my heart strings,, also when Joonie rapped it was so smooth and so poetic especially with the words he was saying, then there was JHopes and Kookies bit that made me smile so much just seeing those two bounce of each-other made my heart burst with pride, and there is no way im forgetting that tongue action at the start thnx to Tae also im not forgetting Jin his bot made me swoon so badly especially when we had a close up of his very handsome face lol. And finally i cant forget about Halsey herself , you could clearly see the friendship she had with the lads thru out her time on the MV and she even danced and kept up with how fast paced the lads were dancing which kinda surprised me but then seeing her smile and the lads and seeing them have fun made me smile even more than i was already. (Also this is me thinking but to me Halsey represents us army in a way in the MV as we all know how much BTS love us Armys and we love them back equally as much.

They had a tiny stage to perform it on with a band behind them (though Halsey wasn’t with them on this version), so with so little room to move, it made their dancing even more amazing. The dance practices are so good - start with Blood Sweat & Tears, then Boy with Luv, Baepsae (Silver Spoon), Mic Drop, Boy in Luv, Fire, and Danger. All are excellent! Baepsae has such a funky beat - it's a fav of mine for sure. Some other suggestions for other groups would be Circus by Stray Kids, Space by Ateez & Pentatonix, Happiness by Pentagon, and Moon by BTS/Jin. All are such good songs and cool videos. There are a few times that BTS members dance with others, who are also good dancers - Jimin does a stage routine with Taemin (another Idol) that is amazing, BTS does a concert with Seo Taiji and Boys (think it’s an anniversary thing for Seo Taiji, from maybe 2017) that is amazing, with some great dancing, and Hobi dances with Becky G on the mv for his song, Chicken Noodle Soup, and she does really well…I apologise as I’m not that familiar with her, but she seems like an excellent dancer 🙏🤷♂️💜💜 Halsey out a lot of effort into learning the choreo for BWL, she mentioned it was the first time she was doing formal choreo and singing, so she tried really hard, and all the boys were very impressed with her work ethic and how well she did - they are all great friends still Thanks for this reaction 🤗

I think the reason why you became so emotional is that you felt the love poured into the song and it’s intention. It's so true about them being brothers. There's a video by Bangtan Subs of the BTS Prom Party where Jin and V are rehearsing for the song It's definitely you from V's Kdrama Hwarang and it shows how these guys play and tease each other just like family. It's one of my favourite videos ever but it is over 10 minutes long.

Halsey is the ARMY queen. She joined one of their concerts and did this song live. She danced with the boys. You can see her struggling with her breathing but that did not stop her. When she gave birth the BTS announced that they are uncles. She gifted them with friendship bracelets and they gave her a colored mic ( same as theirs).

What can i say about this MV besides it has and is full of my favourite colour (ever since i was little) pink, ok im going to start with my bias Jimin his hair OMG and the way he is dancing in this MV just takes my breath away, like the start when he sings “hows your day” it takes me back to when he asked armys on twitter for about a week before this song cane out be kept asking how everyones day has been and it was lovely also im just in love with his little smile he does aswell and then you get the 3 Js aka Jimin, Jungkook and JHope dancing together that also mazed me, then as i said befor RM and JHope were two of my bias wreckers well it was because of this MV and his smile as he rapped that made Yoongi become my third bias wrecker (before D2 came out which was when he became my ultimate bias wrecker) his little gummy smile just pulled at my heart strings,, also when Joonie rapped it was so smooth and so poetic especially with the words he was saying, then there was JHopes and Kookies bit that made me smile so much just seeing those two bounce of each-other made my heart burst with pride, and there is no way im forgetting that tongue action at the start thnx to Tae also im not forgetting Jin his bot made me swoon so badly especially when we had a close up of his very handsome face lol.
And finally i cant forget about Halsey herself , you could clearly see the friendship she had with the lads thru out her time on the MV and she even danced and kept up with how fast paced the lads were dancing which kinda surprised me but then seeing her smile and the lads and seeing them have fun made me smile even more than i was already.
(Also this is me thinking but to me Halsey represents us army in a way in the MV as we all know how much BTS love us Armys and we love them back equally as much.

This was the song that did it for me, only it wasn’t the mv…it was their live performance of “Boy With Love” on Saturday Night Live. They had a tiny stage to perform it on with a band behind them (though Halsey wasn’t with them on this version), so with so little room to move, it made their dancing even more amazing. I was completely stunned when I saw it. You should look up that performance…you probably can’t react to it w/o getting a copyright flag, but it’d be great for you to watch it.

I would really like you to react to the BTS song" BLUE AND GREY". That song was written by V for his mixtape but the group loved it so much that they decided to include it on the album "BE". V then rewrote the lyrics in korean as originally it was written in English. But lemme tell you, I had tears in my eyes the moment I heard that song. Such a beautiful and comforting song which drives you away from all those worries and depression. If I meet V one day, I would definitely thank him for that masterpiece. Boy with Luv is one of my favs!!! Great reaction = this song puts you in a good mood in a hot minute! Have you watched many of the dance practices of BTS? The dance practices are so good - start with Blood Sweat & Tears, then Boy with Luv, Baepsae (Silver Spoon), Mic Drop, Boy in Luv, Fire, and Danger. All are excellent! Baepsae has such a funky beat - it's a fav of mine for sure. Some other suggestions for other groups would be Circus by Stray Kids, Space by Ateez & Pentatonix, Happiness by Pentagon, and Moon by BTS/Jin. All are such good songs and cool videos. (Apologies if you have already seen these...) You are one of my fav channels for BTS reactions = Love ya Luke! :)

BWL is one of my all time fave BTS choreography. You should def check out the dance practice version of this song!
There are a few times that BTS members dance with others, who are also good dancers - Jimin does a stage routine with Taemin (another Idol) that is amazing, BTS does a concert with Seo Taiji and Boys (think it’s an anniversary thing for Seo Taiji, from maybe 2017) that is amazing, with some great dancing, and Hobi dances with Becky G on the mv for his song, Chicken Noodle Soup, and she does really well…I apologise as I’m not that familiar with her, but she seems like an excellent dancer 🙏🤷♂️💜💜
Halsey out a lot of effort into learning the choreo for BWL, she mentioned it was the first time she was doing formal choreo and singing, so she tried really hard, and all the boys were very impressed with her work ethic and how well she did - they are all great friends still

That song is a very special song to BTS as it was their first album win The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever was their hit single on that album to gain recognition and it shows that ARMYs were so dedicated, loyal and faithful that BTS could win anything at award shows. Plus too when BTS was on their world tour for their Love Yourself they were in London at Wembley Stadium, ARMYs sang Young Forever as a surprise gift to BTS. I guess you will have to do two reactions to Young Forever MV and BTS's reaction to ARMYs singing Young Forever to them at Wembley Stadium.

I think the reason why you became so emotional is that you felt the love poured into the song and it’s intention.
It’s actually kind of a love song to ARMY and it’s inspired by ARMYs’ stories and their everyday lives. Thus the original title “Poem to small things”.
The song is so lighthearted and full of joy.
