I thank you for making this kind of videos they are educative, i also will like to ask if you can make one about a 12 battery (car ) charger that applies to usa please i mean that we can find easily the items needed for it again thanks and i will be looking for a reply
the wire is nichrome (hardware shop should have it) and you should do the following... the charger you mention has a specific amperage it outputs so do the following measure the resistance of the wire you are using and divide the voltage of the battery (or the source of energy you are planning to use) by the measured resistance the result will be the amperage that will flow in that circuit so if that amperage is lower than the rated one in your charger all good if not get another charger or use a non lipo or nimh battery unless it has protection in it
Are pretty much all plastic bags susceptible to this kind of heat-fusing? Everything from thin grocery-store bags to store-bought ziplocs to random cellophane and random thin plastic sheets?

If you not make a switch in the machine the nichrome always get heated
The circuit closes when its pressed down. There is no need for a physical switch. The mechanism of pressing down does the switching.

No Dude, guitar sring will not work, u have to use nichrome wire.
