Being a fan of the Baroque since I was young, I've never heard of Leonardo Leo until now. Thanks for introducing me to him Marie, you've created a sublime masterpiece that I can't stop listening to! The recording quality in phenomenal. Looking forward to your future recordings.
I'd only heard of him because I was working my way through The Festival Collection (the classical piano repertoire series edited by Helen Marlais), and I learned to play Leo's G-minor toccata in the course of that (this one: czcams.com/video/B4iEmaj78pE/video.html&ab_channel=MasterKeyz)
I clicked on this video when it came up in my recommendations specifically because I wanted to hear something else by him.

Was für eine Stimme!!! Halelujah! Selten haut mich eine klassische Sängerin so vom Hocker! Umwerfend diese Schönheit, diese Weichheit im Klang. Traumhaft schöne Höhen und Tiefen, Mitten, und dazu dieses glockige, durch und durch feminine und genau im richtigen Maß verwendete Vibrato. 3 Sec gehört gehört und sofort verliebt. Umwerfend! Ich glaube geau so klang es zu dieser Zeit. Auf mich wirkt diese Stimme mit jedem Musikstück, dass ich hier angehört habe authentisch. Ich fühle mich in andere Sphären geführt. Das soll was heißen;-)
