If u are lowrank, just play the game and have fun, go into freeplay and DONT try aerial mechs, i did that mistake in gold and i reached diamond in a month after i firt started playing, BUT after that i was hardstuck for bit over a year(with a lot of breaks)
After playing fir long im gathering some gamesense and reached champ, and now my aerials are getting simpler but efficient
So pls dont focus on aerials ind silver or gold, and even plat
And if u do dont say that u can aerial, bc thats not true, if u really can aerial then ud have to be able to do it clean about 5-10 times in a row
In gold, we either pop off, or hit it like a bronze 💀

I wish i could articulate this. Ober the past year , year and a half, everybody has improved a lot. Ssl is still onviously top tier but diamond is the new champ and plat is the new diamond. Im hitting shit in plat 3 and d1 that a plat or diamond would NEVER hit 3 years ago

@PappyP I'm good doing what I'm doing bro. I'm having plenty of fun and winning plenty of games. I don't need to be gc1 to be happy. All I was saying is people are better now. Btw the fancy shit is fun and makes me feel good when I hit it. My recovery mechanics , wavedashing, aerial control , boost management , shadow defense, back post rotations , shooting and pinches are dialed in for my rank. I'm doing fine bro thanks
@@raymondmaglaris4149 never said you needed to be gc1. You’re just lying to yourself because if everything is “dialed in” and you can hit fancy shots then they arent dialed in. Plat 3-d1 going for fancy shots then your skill in everything else is pretty much nonexistent.
@PappyP I invite you to join a private match with me and tell me that I'm not better than your idea of a plat in every single category I have plenty of clips of flip resets and musty flicks and ground dribble plays in ranked matches if you aren't interested. I'm plat 2 division 3 but my behavior is diamond 2, because I play casual most of the time and I go against diamonds and sometimes champs.

i always get p3 div3/4. then my good teamate says he gotta go, i random queue, i get the worst matchups of my life, go back to p1, dominate, find that one random good teammate, we go to p3 and repeat. its a cycle.
I was airdribbling at gold, almost every mechanic except for physcos I just couldnt consistently flip reset. I could Kind of physco but 2 bounces once I hit a physco one bounce.

the rank, expecially the lower ones have improved massively. in my time playing the game ive seen plats go from barely being able to aerial to being able to airdribble
They are just inconsistent. They still can barely aerial and cant air dribble. It’s just that one in 200 attempts they do something good and everyone sees that and thinks thats what the whole rank is

Tips for a Champ to get to gc?
Ive heard work on getting more mechy and faster if youre a positional player but if youre already mechy and fast do positioning and good decision making. Ive also heard try to be able to get air dribbles from a bunch of awkward set ups that people cant expect instead of the classic perfect setup ground to air or wall to air.
Im c1 tho so idk thats just what ive heard from people

if you cant do that, even since its a boring and tilting gamemode, play 1s and see how much you suck and need to improve.
i would also recommend double tap playground from wayprotein which improves your first touches.
