I didn't find it disappointing as i have seen these thing in real life also Jungkook knew where yn could go and how his mother and wife relation is and he gave her space to think it's call maturity and reality the fact that sometimes no one can understand each other's perspective still here Jungkook was ready risk all to solve their prob it's just my point of view u may think whatever u want

Even though jungkook should've gone after her, he knew that she needed to be away from him for a bit with all that he said so when his mom called him and told him yn was at her place he knew she's okay in a sense then.
If yn hadn't left the house and came back in their room then jungkook would've most likely made an attempt to apologize then and there. He knew she would've been at the university so thats why he apologized there.
