considering how niche seems to be fighting games im not sure if they really are making money with this game.
for sure they are not making as much as they make with the gacha and gbf relink, and with the effort and passion i see put in this game, im not sure if they break even.
i believe cygames invest in it because is part of their main franchise like they invested in the anime, and because one game or media leads to players to go and play other of their granblue games, so some of the money from the other games gets reinvested in all their granblue projects.
No - they learned how to make booty money before 2b even existed lmao. 2b is tame compared to the granblue booty out there lol.

2B actually does have a couple moves that give her Skill Gauge back, namely her Multistrike Protocol alternate enders can give it, M+H gives 2, L+M gives 1, L+H gives 1, all on hit

It’s not like a massively adored franchise it’s two games- one of which has gameplay so repetitive and trite that it honestly isn’t even worth the semi decent story. 2nd of all, as i said: the first Nier SUCKS. The second one was a critical darling so of course they use her and not boring ass Nier. he’s generic as fuck. Honestly the fact you’d seriously say that Automata is overrated as if it doesn’t objectively have the better gameplay (and arguably better story) is telling that you’re nothing but a contrarian that doesn’t have his own opinion. you only dislike it because everyone else likes it. I find it funny that before the self-destruct, there is not a singular frame of animation where you can see her "underwear". However, after the SD, it's full fanservice mode, where it's the exact opposite. It goes from 0 to 100%.
