Get a PS2. It plays old PS1 games and you can get it cheap. Plus the alpha anthology collection on PS2 has Pocket Fighter. My advice is get a YPbPr cable and an RGB Scart cable too, since any other cables would look rubbish on modern TVs.

does anyone know how to pull off dan's super secret move where he keeps punching the foe and then rises with a twister around him?

Was disappointed to not see it in the video, along with the Secret Input Version of the Shun Goku Satsu, which flashed multiple frames of Gouki/Akuma attack animation before the traditional finish.
Also, Dan's Super Secret Shin Koryuken doesn't have a tornado as I recall, but finished with the classic tear-streaming "Yatta ze...OYAJI!!!"

afaik Zangiefs table flip move is a super.
Enzo Gaming It's a grab move. It combos into a grab or you can do a command input to initiate grab move.

Thanks a bunch for the answer! I need to figure out the code, because I actually have the Alpha Anthology. I never knew it had that, so I will certainly look into it.
Don't they fly around the world? If so, I have done that dozens of times, it works with many attacks.
I need to find the Faq, I usually play on the PS version instead of the Anthology because it has running battle and quizzes that are fun for my less "arcade purist" friends.
So I never bothered to search for codes in SFAnthology.
I did know about the Hyper SFA and SFA3 Upper unlockables, though.
Yeah, those I noticed those myself. I can't think of much more except they corrected some typos that the PSOne version had in it's intros and endings.
"Elza" instead of "Eliza" in Ken's intro at one point is a good example of a typo in the PS version.
Also, the AI is generally harder in the PS2 version. (Still way too easy)
To confirm your thought, no, you can't make them fly around the world in the PS version.
It's nice to meet someone else that knows a good bit about the game, it doesn't seem to happen often for me.
