Chris, please take a felling course for taking out those trees! Your life will thank you.
I think any community college offers some type of arborist course..
Even asking for help from a professional company will work..
Do those courses actually teach hinge cutting? Very different goal from felling....
Bros dangerous AF.
Bro barber chaired every tree 🤣
Wish michigan would put heavy antler restrictions for just two years. We would have giants! So many good genetics most don't make it past 3.5 though.
We just got the 4pt restriction back this year in the lower counties that had eliminated it. Hopefully it’ll help a little. Of course that’s just for one tag but still a good start.
We need to be a one buck state
Heavy antler restriction! that’s more of a deer genetic then just waiting on deer to get better. You would need to shoot all the pencil horn racks and the bad messed up non-typical’s to get the gene. Pool you want. And you know how hard that would be to enforce! I wouldn’t expect a game warden to enforce that on a big scale
@@Easternandoutwardthat's not how genetics work bro, and most of the buck genetics come from the doe. Also just because it's a spike doesn't mean it can become a giant if you let it grow. same with 80% of the bucks.
In West Virginia this year I have 2 8 point bucks. But I live in Ohio and my family has 100 private acres I love it. In West Virginia we have no restrictions on buck sizes. The saying down their is said to the young kids “if it is brown it Is down” that means no matter what size of deer comes in shoot it and don’t think twice about it. It is sad yes
Would love some more informational videos using onX to break down stand locations and more on why you chose specific spots. Could even use a made up location on some public to make sure you don’t give up yours. Great video!
I cant understand how to tell what public land i can hunt on, i know wma is white borders with blue dots but can you hunt anywhere with white borders?i have government owned land near my house but i cant tell if i can hunt there or not
Thanks for sharing, need to learn a little more on how to hinge cut and safety. As a landowner i would lose my s if you cut down my hickory's or oaks.
Love the new style of videos!! Behind the scenes work is making for great content!
Falling trees like that is going to hurt you one day. Lots of barber chairs. Guilty of Treeson channel has a good how to.
I came here for this comment 😅
He wasn't falling trees
Great informative video and no, absolutely not boring! Hunting is very much about prep work. Not a specialist on tree cutting but the little I know it seems there is a lot of “barber chairing” in the way you are cutting them… unless it’s on purpose, I believe making proper notches is safer for you as you control more the direction. My two cents.
A barber chair is definitely not what you want.
That looks like a blast! I think your videos have been getting better and better in the video and editing.
Really excited to see some different content like this
Even his gas tanks look brand new.
Loving this farm building series!
What you don’t realize is that most of us don’t care if it’s boring or not , when you post we watch 🤣
There’s a reason for that , quality and story is always on point so keep it up
Keep up the vids always great and love to watch them
Love the vids keep up the great work chris ❤
Awesome video brother! Great video Chris 🐝
My dad grew a 200 inch whitetail in Georgia, but the owner of the land next to us shot it. But i'm still happy someone got a deer of a lifetime.
I would love more of the off-season work videos
I keep trying to clean my screen to get the dust off but it’s on your camera 😂 great video series
Chris,
Could you make a video focusing more on budget archery hunting. Most hunters cannot hang countless treestand sets all over, trail cams all over the place, multiple food plots and rented equipment. I love your videos brother! Keep up the good work and good luck this archery season!
well i guess you finally smarten up . that's exactly what i've been doing on my 270 for the last 8 years .its alot of work but brother its worth every drop of sweat .you will profit from every thing you do there .good luck my friend
Love the videos
Looked threw your videos maybe you have already done it but can you do a gear review on your chest bino rig ?
what is better for deer hunting i have like a 55lb bow should i use heavy or light arrows
Hello from Maine.
Not boring.
I hinge cut my property as well, it has REALLY helped.
Why is that shooting house white?
how high up do you go in those stands, do you always use 4 sticks?
To me it all starts with access and you should be doing all these moves with access top priority. Look at Don Higgins.
I want to buy a vertical or hopefully get one for Christmas lol, I was just curious does the stand get sent with a harness for install? A climbing harness I mean.
The main thing is that this deer does not then go to the neighbors and not to your refrigerator). To attract deer, you may need to make salt pans.
Why the hinge cut vs just chopping the whole tree down?
When deer hunting becomes a form of agriculture 😂.
We got about a 160+15 point we think he’s 4.5 but we don’t think he will make it another year but good news he daylights everyday maybe I get a good chance
Sounds familiar where you at
@@frankspataro9714 Ohio
Cool last name same as my neighbors property and there is same thing there but its not ohio
you should make a vid making and testing a DIY deer stand challenge or somthing just a suggestion
Idk if it’s legal in your state but if you wanna grow deer spring & fall food plots and start feeding them protein pellets in January till September 4-5 year process. Your does will have healthier fawns your deer will weigh more and after 5 years your class of deer will be peak out. University Of Mississippi did a study. Where they took yearling from across the state and gave them all the same high protein diet and only let them breed within their groups East middle and west. And would recored birth weight, and rack sizes and by 4-5 years all 3 groups were within inches disproving the myth that the deer in the west were northern bucks migrating south but that they had a better diet being closer to the river which had richer dirt and more ag
How far away do you want your bedding away from your food plots on average?
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii love your videos (and editing) 12:50 😅😂😊😆😆😆😆😆
Nice vids
How high do you get in trees?
Love this stuff. How about a vertical discount code?
Bro I wanna hunt with you so bad! I wanna hunt Kansas with you!
Chris never looks happy to be there 😂
I cant tell you how hinge cutting went easy for you. Id say 75% of mine snapped off everytime. And i cut less than halfway thru w assisted ropes to help pull tree over. Of course they didnt have the amount of leave yours did, i thought you were supposed to cut them before they sprouted
Species dependent and yes the surface area of the leaves help reduce the recoil when it hits the ground. You can hinge cut year round... applying chemical to standing trees can be more timely.
This is becoming a Civil and Environmental engineering channel haha
I was always told and I always have hinge cut about chest high is there a specific reason you hinge cut below your waist?
The reason for low hinge cuts is two fold. The trees produce better growth at low browse levels (perfect for deer) and it reduces the risk if injury to Chris and his crew. Imagine his chainsaw kicking out or letting loose around chest or neck height.
This is starting to remind me of lee and tiffany. Dont know if i can take watching much more of the rich man hunters game
Whats rich about running a chainsaw?
@@usernamehere6061 multiple high class leases in iowa.
Always bee getting click baited. Was hoping to see some hit listers with that cover lol
Learn how to properly fell a tree.. those barber chairs are dangerous, also you can avoid pinching the bar by giving it a proper face cut..
Keep up the good work!!
Come hunt Washington.
Don’t you wanna keep your low-key great WT hunting secret?
@@anonymous108 yes unless Chris Bee decides to come thru
Should be cutting trees down to harvest for money. What a waste. The under growth that comes up will provide the bedding cover after the tree harvest. Should study clear cut growth and how deer adjust to them.
Bro, you need to learn how to cut down a tree safely. Barber chairing a tree like that is really dangerous.
That’s what he’s trying to do. That’s why it’s called hinge cutting. Look it up
Always early
Never matters
Man @drakelamb563 has that farm looking money! Gona be cool to watch it continue to grow mega giants.
It’s great to show this and the amount of work and time that goes into stuff like this I mean a lot of people just don’t know exactly how much effort it takes to have a set up like this 🤌
