      That’s exciting! Just have a lot of content planned. There are weeks where we have to go look up ideas in our notes. Lol 😂
      We will be there the first weekend in August and at Christmas. I’ll be headed out solo I hope at the end of September to meet up with a life in the parks. Those are our only planned trips for now. We have a hard time spending the money for Oogie Boogie since there is 4 of us. We have been a few times when it was at Disneyland but it was much cheaper.

      Hi! I did feel safe at night. You walk right by the cast member parking lot and then across the street is the garden walk mall, so there is usually other people around and headed in the same direction as you are. • @AnaheimParkTourist
      @AnaheimParkTourist Před rokem

      @@gsgsgssddhdjdjd6000 oh. That is a tough one. I guess my question would be, would you mind the longer walk? Do you take mid day breaks and want to quickly get back to your room?
      Since our kids are older now, we don’t take mid day breaks. So the walk to Element isn’t a big deal for us. But if we did take breaks, I might want to be closer for convenience.
      Also, is a hot breakfast something you’re going to take advantage of? Now that our kids are older, we love hotels that include a hot breakfast. Because that breakfast can easily save us at least $50 or more a day.
      Next question is, do you prefer a hotel, with interior corridors? Or do you not mind that Tropicana is a motel? We typically do not mind if the place we are staying is a motel. But some people prefer inside corridors.
      We absolutely love the room size at the Element. And we also love the many options they provide at breakfast and how well their breakfast room is laid out. But we have had some cleaning issues during both of our stays. Minor, but still noticeable.
      Since our trips are usually heavily budget minded (with the exception of a once a year splurge) I would tend to lean towards The Element. Mainly because it’s a newer property, it’s cheaper and it includes a hot breakfast. But, if you have littles, or want to be able to run back to your room quickly during the day, then I would pick Tropicana. I have not read the most current reviews for either property lately. So you might want to take a look at both Yelp and TripAdvisor for the most recent reviews as well. I think either way, you cannot go wrong as they are both nice property’s.
      I hope that helps! Thank you for watching. ☺️ -Crystal

    Seems the walk way is really narrow. Wonder if there’s room for families walking with strollers, going in opposite directions on the same sidewalk

    • @AnaheimParkTourist
      @AnaheimParkTourist Před rokem

      We use a wide angle lens and it does throw the perspective off a little. The side walk is probably about 3-4 people wide. We see strollers pass one another and everyone just has to go down to single file temporarily. Even a double wide stroller can pass a single stroller. We do wish the side walks were a bit wider, but they do accommodate the foot traffic nicely. Thank you for watching!

      We think it’s totally doable. We walked with no issues with our teenage kids. It’s about 13 min in the video. And you only need to go a bit further to get to security. So maybe about 15 min total time? Not bad in our opinion ☺️ Hope that helps!

    • @AnaheimParkTourist

      No, Jim’s mother is from Southern California but the two of us have never lived there. We were located Northern California in the SF Bay Area but recently relocated due to career opportunities to Idaho.
      We don’t expect many changes to the channel with the move since we never lived closed. That is why we are focused on tourists to the park. We have the exact same issues as everyone else who isn’t local, food costs, hotel costs, and where to stay.
