How to Pair an Andriod or IPhone to a Uconnect 130 Radio System

Tutorial on Pairing an IPhone or Android to the Uconnect 130 Radio System. This is one of the Base Units with Available Bluetooth offered in the Chrysler Brand. This radio system is found on the newer models 2010 and above on the Grand Caravan, Town & Country, Patriot, Compass & Wrangler.

@@katiecoates5684 yes, through bluetooth it will. You can also use an audio cable 3.5mm, which i use, it has better response and quality I think.

Worked like a charm. A little different,newer phones & all but worked. & good thing,the radio comes on occasionally,not often and cuts off at 1st stop light. dk what that’s about.?.& cd player eats the cd /says”no disk “& when I eventually get it to eject,it feels like it’s about to catch on fire. HOT!That’s no good. Haven’t tried a call yet but should be fine. Thx.

Kinda late, but yes you can play music. If your stereo doesn't have a Bluetooth button, just press the Aux button for a couple seconds and it should play your music. At least that works in my model.

That was getting me until I watched the video. You need to make up a number, like he did with 1234, then when it asks for it, you just enter that same number on your phone when it asks for it. It worked perfect for me after I realized that I needed to create the number. As several have commented, the overall system design is rather clunky, but he does a great job of showing how to work with a clunky system, which he didn't design, so don't hold him responsible for trying to help. : )
