Josy is with Maya for fun and because she feels bad for Maya but the relationship is unhappy, toxic(not abuse), and they should have broken up and went on a single route but both are scared of being alone and losing eachother and mc, so for there sake definitely go on there route to keep them unbroken

No, you have to choose "ask for more" in episode 4. That allows you to be with both J&M. Then in episode 8 (the breakfast scene) choose another girl. If you do so, Tremolo will break up with J&M in episode 9 and Josy will be devastated...
