Obviously a bmw diff master. Love it. Thanks for the education, very impressive and very nice work and explanation. I bet you've done 3 dozen or more.
YES! Great video. Always loved your stuff.
Easy to understand! I am gonna order the tools and kits! Since I replace new cv(expensive gkn) and the Z3 lsd ( the diff seems really need to rebuild! Thank you sir!
Thank you
i believe lsd should be maintained with 75w140 not 75w90, check it before clutches will be burned
Usually I fill mine with Wesson. Available at most maor food retailers.

Great rebuild, Frank. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing and have a good one. Regards Nico.
Nice always good work!!
Did you add a gasket to the diff cover? Looks like you only used permeated (or something similar).
Thanks
Thanks for the video. I've done a bunch of Dana, GM, Ford diffs before so I'm pretty familiar with the rebuild and regear process but this one is strange to me so I have a few questions.
Are there no shims for the pinion side? If not, how do you adjust pinion depth to get a proper gear pattern?
Also the backlash seems very tight. Most diffs I've built are typically in the range of 0.006-0.010". What is the recommended range for a BMW 188mm diff?
Thanks.
Hi, backlash isn't too short ?
