For me, 1973 was the last year for real Cadillacs. Plenty of people will disagree and that is fine - we all have our own thoughts on things. With that said, this is a beautiful car!
I remember when the 73s came out. All the car buffs wanted to see that new bumper requirement. I knew where our Cadillac/Oldsmobile dealership kept their new models they'd get in August before the formal showroom rollout in September. Got to do the same for the 74s that had the stationary rear opera window on the Coupe DeVille. Seeing the new cars every year was always an event. They changed every year unlike the past 20+ years. New cars rollouts aren't as exciting now.
Hey give me a call if you can, 843 294 7777. And I have about six videos of this Vista on this CZcams page. Would love to talk with you about it. @@fearsomebeard4290
That caught my eye as well! My Dad had one in...*drumroll🥁* 1973! I was only this ✌️ many! 🙆♀️ And I really loved that '68 Olds Vista Cruiser! 😃😄💖❤️🔥
Hey Richard, I already committed to selling in on Bring a Trailer. No set price, so the bidders will decide. I suspect the first number should start with a "2". I will share the link once it goes live. Thanks!
It is absolutely for sale. I use Bring a Trailer auction site to sell all my classic cars. Once the auction is live I share the link. And any questions are a phone call or email away. Thanks.
@@viciouspoodle5543 The bottom of the back bumper is pushed in on both sides of the car. I had a 73 like this one (only it was a coupe), and there is definitely something wrong with the rear bumper. Notice the rear bumper fillers and how the bumper filler at the top is wider than at the bottom.
I just looked at a picture of another 73 DeVille to confirm, and if you look one up, it shows the spacing of the bumper filler to be even from top to bottom. 😊
I'm in love with this car. I learned to drive on 73 d' elegance. It was my high school car. Fun times! This one is restored to perfection. Well done.
Thanks!! It went to a great home!
Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you! 😊

That back bumper doesn’t fit right.
What do you mean? I just looked at some photos of other '73 DeVilles and the bumper looks fine to me. Love the vertical grille on this car.
