Brother John! Great content. This is pretty 😍 cool 😎 for all of us who wanted to be musicians but never 👎 were. Maybe we were too lazy or maybe life wasn’t bad enough yet. Hey 👋! 3 chords E,D,&A and you can play Gloria. Like I said great work. Keep em comin. How about musicians who can no longer pursue their vocation, Linda Ronstadt, Joni Mitchell, etc. Thank you again. Have a great Wednesday. God bless.

As a music fan I never really heard of Stevie Ray Vaughn until after his death. I was shocked when I first heard his music how good he was and I had a hard time believing he had died at such an early age. I honestly never started hearing his music on the radio until after he died. Thanks for all you do. Great job.

Hey @John Gildein. Did you hear of David Bowie?? Bowie's 1983 album *"Let's Dance"* had *Stevie Ray Vaughan* (then a session player) as lead guitarist that launch his career. His brother *Jimmie Vaughan* was guitarist for *The Fabulous Thunderbirds* (biggest hits: Tuff Enough & Wrap it Up) until 1990. Where both brothers recorded an album together. Same year Stevie Ray Vaughan died in an helicopter crash.

Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing these folks with us. I had only heard of Jeff Buckley, but I will be checking out the work of the others. And I promise I did not put billy Hensley up to posting his comment. ♫

Someday... I'll suspect I'll make a list like this. If I'm lucky

I'm sure I heard that Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World on my co-worker's music streaming. Not my kind of music, but so positive and upbeat that I remembered it when I saw this.

Don't forget Selena Quintanilla-Perez, better known as Selena. She gained worldwide fame as a favorite latina singer with hits "Dreaming Of You" and "I Could Fall In Love" skyrocketed at #1 in the Billboard Charts after being shot and killed by her crazed fan club manager Yolanda Saldivar in a motel in Corpus Christi Texas USA on March 31st 1995 of what it appeared to be some personal and business confrontation with Selena altercated with her then fan club manager Yolanda Saldivar being allegated to be stealing and squandering money under her management and care.

Everyone feels Robert Johnson did a lot for what was to become rock music. Sorry they are gone now. I hope they all rest in peace.

I knew that Nick Drake, Robert Johnson and Jeff Buckley would be on this list.

Eva Cassidy is the best female singer I’ve ever heard other than Aretha Franklin in her prime. Maybe the best singer, period. And she didn’t care at all about the trappings of fame and/or fortune. She just loved to sing with, and for, her friends. You’d think a talent that great would have aspirations greater than she had, but Eva did not. That cause has been picked up and brought to life by her family, a few friends, and those people willing to stand up and be counted for her music.
