I love the idea of performing, and I desperately want to do theatre.
This is slightly hampered by crippling stage fright, self-doubt, and general hatred of myself.
Yesterday I said "fuck it", and performed this very song in a semi-public event, to a room of strangers. It was the first time I've sung out loud in seven or so years, and I slightly stumbled with a sentence or two. But I think my delivery managed to be sufficiently deranged to sell it.
So yeah, this song was my personal breakthrough.
