- My musical midterm assignment for Jay Oliva's Intermediate Storyboarding workshop. We had to pick a set of cartoon characters and a musical number. Hater and Peepers rule!

« It makes you feel like you’re three foot tall » this fits perfectly when you know Peepers is actually smaller than the other watchdogs, and that’s why he wears a bigger helmet and heels.

Also may I just say that peepers and the watchdogs anatomy were on point from expression to pose.
Also Hater was a rockstar. Heights seemed perfect and acurate weight looked present.
And the imagination and choreography that were put into this definitley deserve applause.
Everything seemed in character and just like wander over yander.

Also if you ever wanted to you could always decide to do it again of course I know thats alot of work. But I do know as a fellow...uhhh...artist kinda? I do know its nice to redo/redraw things that you've done and are proud of.
I've always loved seeing the clear difference in quality,skill,and creativity from the original I created.
But of course thats not for everyone 😁 but nonetheless you are incredibly talented and clearly have a good personality and character!
That’s a good point! I could be fun to try it again, or even just clean it up a bit, since I still have the files. It would be a little tough to find the time these days though, now that I’m out of school and have a job 😅 I’ll ponder that. Thanks for being so nice!

Frigg Fluff Thanks! I appreciate it. And yeah, an animatic is basically a storyboard put together in video format, but to some extent I kind of went overboard on this assignment and full on animated it 😂...
well it certainly paid off. a lot better then what i've done so far, but you're more well-versed in this so it makes sense :)
But those inbetweens are amazing and they make it flow so much more. But yeah, I know the feeling, it can be killing to be an artist sometimes. Also thank you so much :D i really needed to hear that today ;w;

I'm in the middle of working on something...it's should have been simple but I've been lazy so it's taken longer then what I originally planned. Still, I hope to have it close to finished by the end of the month....I hope. And hey, I wanna be a storyboarder too, and if not, a character designer. I'll have to be freeæance as I lack the skills to make it into any form of animation school

Brinnlee Lambert Yeah, that's super frustrating. I wish it had gone through. Ah, I used Storyboard Pro for this. It's actually pretty expensive, but I go to school for animation so I used my school's version. In terms of good cheap programs, check out Clip Studio Paint. It's usually on sale and it doubles as an art and animation program.
