What a surprise. Beautiful jungle with wild life, birds. They need to put some signs cautioning crocodiles 🐊, leopards 🐆. Keep the door closed, never know, leopards might walk in. India has it all nature wise from snows, deserts, tallest mountains, ocean, sea, jungles with unique wild life, dry to wetlands, some of the coldest places to hottest places on earth, I must have left out some.

This looks like an extension of western coast . Real north karnataka i assume is in the hinterland . Gulbarga , bijapur and bidar , Badami , Pattadakkal , Hubli , Belgaum , Gokak waterfalls e.t.c;

Uttara Kannada where this dandeli located is very good tourist destination. Unlike Udupi and Mangalore people over here are calm, well behaved,and friendly. Most foreigners visit this place,there are world famous beaches there.

There is another word "Ja"
"Ja" means "Go" in Hindi.
May be you confused with "Ja" :)
