Mahirap ang maging care giver. Umuwi ako from London my insomnia. Hindi ako nanghinayang SA iniwan Kong Kita na 70k for only 8 days na duty. May duty ako na may night shift kumikita me halos kulang 20k in just two days. Di pa kasali part time Kong cleaning job kumikita me almost nearly 100 k but still Hindi prin me nag regret. Health is wealth that's one thing for sure. Ginawa ko nag ipon at pagawa house Sabay uwi. I have no life. All I did work work work. Good luck sayo Dyan.
Now hayahay buhay at pa Zumba Zumba nalang at tambay 😍. Ang sarap din plang mabuhay Ng walang stress juice ko po nuon akala ko matotodas na ako SA kakayod. almost 1 yr before nawala insomnia ko dito SA Pinas. I thought I'm gonna die any time dahil Hindi na ako mkatulog. Nasira na sleeping routine ko or mind time clock my body doesn't know bed time. Kya dapat wise MGA OFW for their money.

I switched job from working as barista and waitress and factory worker as a private live in carer/caregiver mas malaki earnings ko unlike before n ng ppart time cleaning p ko juggling n 3 jobs mahal ang living cost s london plus food expenses and transportation pa. Much better mg 1 job and live in and free meals save lht ang sahod.
You are really compassionate to your job that is shown to your actions po ate. You loved your patient and that makes you unique and precious. Money can bring thousands of caregivers but those who had a tender loving care is very rare.You inspired me as Nursing Student to be a great RN soon. You are one of example of a great CAREGIVER❤️ Sana dumami pa po ang kagaya mo ate stay safe😊❤️
Your compassion is visible in what you do. My family has had caregivers for my parents the last 4 to 5 years of their lives. We’ve gone through no less than 30 caregivers over those years. Being from the Philippines, we prefer Filipino caregivers but not all of our Pinoy caregivers were in it for the right reason. We’ve had one that would barely do the minimum and caused my mom who had dementia numerous infections and bed sores. For the most part, she would not interact with my mom unless we were there and would be on her phone most of the time. Although we can rely on her for being there for her shift, we’ve had to let her go as we had to focus on quality of care. For her, it was about the money and not compassion. Most of our other caregivers were good. One male caregiver was exemplary. He was our first male caregiver and my dad was harsh on him at the beginning and because of his dedication, he was able to turn my dad around and became our most trusted caregiver. Your story reminded me of that time. He is now like family even though my parents are no longer around.

Yes, I agree! i´m a health care worker too & working in a hospital (Infectius Disease Unit) and a part time in nursing home (my previous workplace just less hours beacuse I´ve a fulltime work in a hospital. I know how hard it is as a caregiver, but not all are good to that. I mean if someone working in this field of work & can not do even the basic needs for a person, so it means it´s wrong job, as what we called here in our language here in Denmark. Anyway, keep safe everyone!

Hello 👋 I have my own home care here in Oregon USA, I take good care of my mother in law and two older ladies, I don’t have a caregiver because of covid19 pero tinutulongan ako ng husband ko at anak ko, mga independent pa mga alaga, mauna pa sila magising kaysa akin sa umaga.
