Buddha always praised calmness, peacefullness and serenity environment and including any expressions. That is why the Buddha seeks forrest environment for practicing paths to cessation of Dukkas or the impermanence imperfection and impersonal of all things.
For my friends that are saying its more of a church type.....well it is but its not wrong i say however they want to cherish and practice lord buddha teachings is up to them ....i say its beautiful.....its different but its beautiful as long as they admire the teaching thats all it matters.....lord buddha doesn't criticize he is very delighted that the dharmma and sangha is being practice....namo buddhaya

Lovely video to watch and a very warm and loving atmosphere comes across. I am not a practising Buddhist myself, but I do see myself as a fellow traveller, if that expression is relevant, as I have studied Buddhist texts, such as the Diamond Sutra. The only problem I have, with the greatest respect and not wishing to cause offence to anyone, is the photo below the Buddha figure. I fully know the importance of this man as he founded the organisation in the 1970s, known then as the FWBO. I appreciate that his writings are used by members today and are inspirational for many, thought I find them difficult to read, but nothing can come, in my view, between the individual and the Buddha as represented by the icon. The Buddha was a pointer to the truth and, as he said, “search out your own salvation with diligence”.
Budhist practice of local custom can be flexible but the main principle of Buddha Dhamma must be emphasized and adhered to such as the 4 noble truths and the eight fold paths. In the mean time the Buddha's Dhamma Vinaiya must be maintained aswell. Thus flexiblity of certain minor mundane practice can be acceptable or avoidable but not those of the prime Dhamma teaching of the Buddha.
As long as the practice is not gone astray from the Buddha teaching of four noble truths and the Aririya Magga (eight Civilized Paths) and the Buddha teaching of DhammaJaka Guppawattana Sutra, its should be ok and as long as the practice is not adulterate from any Sangka rules. As long as the practice is not opting out any Buddha major critical teaching of Dhamma and Vinaiya, then claiming to be Buddhist is OTHERWISE totally nonsense. MAY THE GOOD WILL OF BECOMING and practicing BuddhaDhamma and practicing the true Buddha teaching IS FLOURISHING IN EVERYONES HEART. ALTERATION FROM the TRUE BUDDHA TEACHING IS UNWHOLESOME and the unwholesome KAMMA will follow the practioners FOR MANY LIVES TO COME. CHEERS!
Learning Dhamma without practicing Dhamma is useless. Practicing Dhamma without learning Dhamma is not wise. But those who learn Dhamma and practice Dhamma, they will be happy and peaceful. Their mind, deeds, and speech will be positive, not have hatred, anger, and etc. This is the purpose of having religion. Religion must lead his follower spread love and compassion.
Buddha had teach us how to face suffering and what to do get fid of suffering but these guys have not got Buddha's message. This is sort of a Catholic church for me. Singing & applause. If you want to learn real Buddhism you guys must follow Vipassana Meditation. There are so many meditation centers world wide and in UK itself.
Vipassana is only a part of Buddhism, Buddhism is very vast yet can be summed up in a few words, it does not matter if it's like a Catholic church or a mosque as long as dharma is being practiced sincerely. 🙏🏼
Every country has a unique culture and practice. As people follow the Buddha teachings, I would call them true Buddhists..Stay blessed and happy to all buddhist brothers and sisters..
