- #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke said the decision by a New York court to quash 2020 convictions on sex crimes against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is not a blow to the movement but a 'clarion call'.
Speaking at a press conference, Burke said: 'A man as powerful and as far-reaching as a Harvey Weinstein, as Ashley just described, you could not get him into a courtroom, and we need to acknowledge that'.
