I like Jake as a wrestler but in my opinion he’s just bitter and envious of the success that Bret hart and Shawn Michaels had in their respective careers jake was self destructive he has no one else to blame for himself he could’ve became just as successful as they were but he couldn’t get rid of his demons

Jake had a lot of success. In the late 80s he was one of the most over guys in the company. At one point he was probably second to Hogan in terms of popularity. Shawn was never that over.
Gave Scott a lot of good years of living loved, was fckn awesome to see❤

Base on everything I know about Jake, based on the way other wrestlers and bookers talk about Jake, i would honestly assume he would have hands down the greatest wrestling podcast of all time. Im still feeling this podcast out, and it's good, i enjoy it.... but i feel like there's too many legendary questions going unasked. Idk what it is, but there is something out there just waiting too make this the biggest squared circle podcast of all time. I think Conrad and the way he lays out a show and has tons of research is honestly the way to do a Jake the Snake show.

Shawn should have been in Jake's bag because he was the real snake in the business.
Jake doesn't like him because he's way shorter than Jake and Jake doesn't think wrestlers like Shawn or Bret should ever have been WWF Heavyweight Champion. Jake paid his dues before Shawn and is a cerebral kind of outlaw type who delivered great promos. Shawn was a pretty boy with more in ring ability. They just never clicked as friends.

To me, being arrogant in one's abilities--no matter how gifted they are--just lessens their talents. The truly great ones know they are good but they don't let it go to their heads and become completely insufferable to those around them.

From all the shoots ive watched over the years, even from back when you had to torrent them... Nobody.., And i mean nobody has anything good to say about Shawn Michaels. And he's never done any shoot interviews or been one of the boys has he. He was gone for the company for what?... 4 years.. and came back when he bent his back in the right position and gained his smile again. And pretends to be now this holier than thou person from all the Sh*t he did from the decades past. Well ppl and GOD does not forget.
He actually did do a rf video shoot interview when he first retired it's from 2000 or 2001 if he never came back as a born again Christian and apologized to everyone he would definitely be known as one of if not the biggest prick in the history of the business I think the interview is on CZcams I watched it on CZcams a couple years ago

There was a 3rd friend in the middle who was the nicest guy in the world but he’d get annoying when he tried to play diplomat to both sides.
