I’ve never seen anyone “swim” Without kicking their legs
Those “whole wheat” grilled cheese sandwiches and cream based soup is easily over 1k calories, the non-swimming you maybe burned 100 at best… need to have some realistic numbers and create a deficit
I count calories on my fitness pal and this was one of the only meals I had in hours. I was still in deficits
You should walk around for 20 minutes in the water it’s a good work out and you don’t deal with that pressure in your knees .
As an overweight woman myself, typing Fat girls float is the reason why our youth is growing up with no self worth.

Chantel get yourself an Aqua jogging flotation belt you will be able to walk or jog up and down the pool while floating. Much easier than walking on land and you get your exercise without the weight.
Then when you’re used to walking long periods try running in water.
Chantel, you should challenge yourself to swimming everyday for a month just to see if you notice a difference. My cousin who has struggled with her weight for most of her life (she tried every diet possible and failed at every one) she started swimming a little over a year and has lost 80 pounds, she looks fantastic. Anyways, if anything, do this for a month and don't give up, I'm sure you will see a difference and it will motivate you to keep going. Maybe do a 30 day FB swimming challenge vlog.

hi chantal, can you do laps? about 1 laps, and rest for a bit, then another laps back? i usually, go dive deep under water and touching the ground. thats how i exercise. that i can really feel that i am out of breathe. lol. but not sure how your health is. you are so lucky you can swim at midnight. i wish most facilities are like that. i am really a swimmer, but stopped at the age of 9, but i love to swim for fun too. ive been swimming again too recently, but just stoppped for now just this May. cause i always have to go out and swim outside. so you are really lucky. i also love 9 to 10 feet deep pool. if you are back floating, you need to move your arms and legs, and just stay still. or goggles if you like going deep. or pretend you are jump roaping in the pool, or going squatting and zooming out of the water. like you are jumping. and since i am a smoker, i run out of breathe easily, but after 1 to 2 lapse, i can do 4 laps, then the next time, it will become longer. if you are always swimming. im also short btw, just an inch from you.
if the laps is too easy, it needs to be hard, lmao. i dont know, but maybe if i was there, i could be your coach only for a day. i will make it a bit harder for you. i want to see you get that -run of of breathe just once. just to see there is is really an effort to it. lol.
i would never swim in a dark pool. before i imagine an octopus, shark will come and get me, thats why i swum really fast. and i already want to finish the laps our coach is trying to make us do, so i try to make it really faster when i was a kid.

i have a suggestion, do you know this sauna suit? maybe you can try it, 10 mins walk, then after that swimming? lol. thats what i do. if i dont have knee injury and dont have hypertention, i would be boxing with a sauna suit on . my doctor told me no more, but now that i have on meds, i still cant do it, cause of my knee injury, so all i can do is walk and wear using sauna suit for 30 mins, then i go swim. i think ive lost about 15 pounds in 3 months. but when i use to box before, and swim at the same day, i lost about 20 pounds in just 3 months. it actually feels good. if feels like you are shredding something off. just a caution, sauna suit is easily rip from in between, so, you need to wear shorts inside.
and after the heavy exercise, you will feel tired, and just sleep it off, than to eat.

Chantal honey please ignore people telling you to do tricks in the pool, they just want to make fun of you. This is a wonderful and relaxing way to get exercise and I'm proud of you. If you could do this sn hr a day,it would do wonders for you.
