1998 - 2001 the best years of deep house
The mid 90s to the early 2000s was the best era in house/dance/electronic music. Not sure how we let bubblegum-EDM takeover such amazing, organic and vibrant sounds.

House from another planet. That mix between Atmosfear and Jark Prongo remains one of my favourite transitions. Like many I miss this era, it was so... pure, had such integrity. But I was pleased to recently find something which was vaguely reminiscent of the style and magic of these releases, in the form of the FIXED set on Lot Radio (05-05-2023). Enjoy!

This is one of the first vinyl records I bought back in 1999. Also had the mixed CD. A gorgeous house music trip that indeed took me so many times to outer space, across the universe, far, far away from here. Thank you for the music Deep Dish and Yoshitoshi. I can't recall how many times friends and I would listen to Yoshieque mixes vol 1 & 2 at an after party and how enjoyable it was. ✈
All my cds are in moving boxes and have been for 7 years. Now moving again. Plan is to thin out the collection radically before this next move. Going throughthe content of those boxes in my head now, so ended up here on YT. Sooo good. I just cannot throw stuff like this out ;)
